I don't really think so, but it was on the list, and we didn't remove, it's still  - not + We did not apply and personally I doubt they would add us anyway. The only reason I'd want such a big pool is raise of hashrate which is good. But only if it won't have the most of hashrate because I suspect it's the only pool that can really make some use of its prevail in hashrate  

MinerGate is actually the second NiceHash. What for? For me it does not make any sense. We can actually put "+" for this bullet point having in mind that we've got NiceHash instead of MinerGate (attracted attention of high hash volumes).

I do not see in roadmap the first merchant accepting KRB.

now we need plugins for merchants, looking for ecommerce plugins developers

We are going to change network ID next week.
It's kind of hardfork so it will be MANDATORY update.
Especially to all pool operators and solo miners, please stay in touch and do update your forknote or karbowanec daemons when announced.
For pool operators it is advised  to contact me to establish date and time.

A security fix was pushed to github:

Issue was discovered by Monero Lab and they kindly noticed me about this case.
I strongly advice everyone who run Forknote daemons or daemons of compatible blockchains to update to it ASAP.

We announced network id change that will be conducted together with this security update. If you're using Forknote binaries at your pools update ASAP when binaries are published. I will publish them here too.

Tomorrow all you will have to do to change network id is small edit of config file.


Security fix for Karbo is also published on Github. As announced, tomorrow we will release new binaries and wallets containing this fix and new network id.

I'd propose to make krb-stack-cpu fork, create karbo address and offer keys to the initial dev, or keep yourself, or split reward if he's interested

They say it is. But it has a little more complicated settings.

Concerning development there are developers making stuff occasioanally. It's open source project, no one is working on it full time.
Actually I devote a lot of time to it as you can see.

It's not Monero clone, it's 'clone' of what Monero was cloned from. Now Monero has totally different codebase and has little in common with Karbo. Karbo went own way too.

Metcalf's law.  This is a niche national cryptonote fork for Ukraine that is years in the making. It's already an excellent tool for Ukrainians to transfer value safely. I doubt the price on the exchange matters much to them.

Yes, we actually wish the price to be stable at some reasonable level. It has been on par with official national currenny i.e. 1 krb ~ 1 uah so we are almost content. We are targeting slow rise to 1$ however and actual usage of the coin by people and merchants, therefore we really prefer it to be stable.

Before us is road ahed in making of convenient tools for merchants and people, like long anticipated webwallet and payment gateway.

People love "instability" if the value is going UP 

Since launch 18 months ago KRB has gone up 600% in USD (0.007 to 0.045)...
And there has been consistent development and crisis management... and excellent communication.

The hardest part is actually behind KRB...
And the most comparable Alt out there is SIB at $4,000,000 cap.
