P.S.: Bitmaintech is the worst company ever, and their products become only worse and worse, and not to mention their warranty which is useless I will never buy from them again

Work your way through bitmains warranty process. It's tedious but also the only route you can head if you want a replacement

the board doesn't look fried to me, otherwise it would have shown X on chips right ? it just doesn't appear at all. maybe I could make it work again without having to deal with bitmain's shitty warranty ?

Maybe take a look at the connection from the controller to the hash board? It may be lose and not connected properly since the control panel isn't picking it up. Else from my knowledge I've heard the board is usually faulty when this happens. Try the first thing I said and maybe even reset miner ? I don't know. This may or may not solve it I wish you the best of luck Edit: which psu are you running ? I had a similar problem when I was running 2 x 1000W psu and one psu broke thus a board completely disappeared. I'd presume you having this problem because the hashboard isn't receiving power. That's most probably the provlem

Best to email support@bitmain.com and they will then send you the details of what to do, some forms on the site can only be filled in after you ship your part back.

I've been very reluctant to buy an S9 because I had the same problem as many of you are stating with one of my Batch 1 S7s. The warranty process worked...but i ended up getting 7 replacement boards for that rig. By May, I had run out of warranty when an older board died after i put in the latest replacement board. So I gave up trying to get the board replaced as it would have been at my expense. Understand that: I had already spent more then enough by paying UPS for sending boards to Bitmain warranty despite them sending back a replacement board under warranty. So I wasn't going to send them yet another board at my shipping expense plus pay for the replacement board and shipping costs.
Simply put I decided to cut my losses on this rig and just let it run on 2 boards. So that rig has spent much of the last year running on 2 boards. That rig will never ever break even. Thankfully I had no issues with my other 3 S7s. But having had 1 out of 4 rigs be such a problem, i decided not to jump on the S9 band wagon too quickly. Now I am feeling happy that I didn't.

Hey all, I'm moving forward with returning some defective parts for an S9 miner. It's my first time going through the warranty process and I was hoping to get some advice from anyone who's already done it. Bitmain asks that I fill out and enclose an RMA excel file which has as one of it's fields: "Return Tracking Number". How can I obtain this information and include it in the package if I haven't sent it out? Or should I be able to get this info elsewhere? I could always bring it UPS get the info, and then enclose it (common sense I know ) Either way, I wanted to see if anyone else has some thoughts on it. Thanks guys, MM

So I write in field traking number before shipping.

I have an 11.85 miner from batch 10 that I am having to reset 3-4 times per day because it quits hashing. Is there anything I can try to fix it?
Thanks

Rollin' dem bones and ordered another B13 s9. This will make 7 of the s9's from batch-1 on up. So far <knocks wood> all of mine are running with zero issues aside from the B1 and B3 needing to be under clocked to keep chip temp at high 90's max.
