Looks like the R4 is back up for sale. Wonder if another S9 round is coming? Usually they announce these things, don't they?
R4 sold out within hours. I saw no more S9 on the listing aswell..bitmain will release S10/S11??? Zero need to release the s10/s11 As of today the s9 is far more efficient then anything else for sale. They will continue to sell s9s until at least July

This is one of my Batch 17 S9's purchased direct from China. Is there still no way adjust frequencies on these or has someone hacked it? The boards on this miner are just a mess.

So far no one hasn't come with any other solution than trying different firmware versions with those autotune frequency models. I don't have a autotune freq model, so I don't know much more about it.

This is an autotune s9. Everything is automatic, fans, freq. Looks like yours is running perfectly. What is your firmware date? The latest is 11-29

Just thought I'd update here on my repair process with my Batch 23 Antminer S9. It arrived last week and this week 2 boards stopped operating. I contacted bitmain and was told to return the unit to Hong Kong as per usual. After I complained about the shipping cost being too high bitmain offered to cover the return shipping. So far I must say the service is excellent and did not expect this from bitmain due to the high complaints about warranty. I was pretty shocked when they said they would pay for all round shipping. Great service so far and really gives me hope that they still care about customers. I hope other people dealing with repairs get the same treatment as this

That is stunning I have never read this from anyone but you. I'd assume people would usually want to keep it on the down low but I felt the community should know. If you would like proof I'd be happy to provide it to you in a PM Philip. The reason I won't provide it here as it has sensitive information but will be happy to show it to a trusted member. Edit: I've purchased 18 Antminer S9's in the past 2 months so maybe that has something to do with it ? I don't know just an idea

The specs for the S9 state the ambient operating temperature should be 0-40 deg C.
I live in a cold place and my sole S9 is set up in my garage. It's getting colder and I expect the ambient garage temperature to drop below 0 deg C soon (its 4 deg C now).
Are there serious risks to run the miner below 0 deg C? I was thinking a few deg below wouldn't be a huge deal, but maybe condensation can become a concern?
Thanks

I have heard from many people that in winter they are mining outside. I think mining below 0 degree C isn't good idea because if there is freezing in that area, than it maybe hurts fan. Usually when mining rigs are in cold place and they are protected from rain andsnow, there isn't problems but of course everything isn't same. Try mining in your garage and monitor it's hashrate and etc

Try mining in your garage and monitor it's hashrate and etc
Yeah I am doing this but I don't want to risk destroying my equipment by allowing a catastophic failure. So any input on the associated risks or real work experience is much appreciated I want to avoid buying a spaceheater and wasting money on powering it.
So assuming the miners keep the area at >60-65F, as a backup set a space heater to a bit below that so the heater only comes on if some miners go down and stop making heat or not enough heat if it's really cold out (and insulate)...
