That is true, I have done that before because I am an addict gambler and even though I have a will power to quit gambling already. Still my hands are really becoming itchy if I am not able to gamble. So it tends that I will just going to comeback again and again just to satisfy my gambling needs. So when a gambler wants to quit I am not degrading him because I know what it feels.

And if you've been able to forget about it, then you have to promise to yourself to not gamble anymore so you won't lose any more money.

It is never as easy as what you have said. When a people is addicted to it, it become a habit for him and it is part of his lifestyle. For example, let say i ask you to quit from using internet, are you able to do so? You may be able to stop it for a few days or even a few weeks, but we are talking of quitting forever. It is not true that gambler dont realise that. Gambler will know they are addicted but it is very hard not to go gambling cause they are so addicted to it that it is very hard to change their lifestyle. And like you say, even after knowing, they will still have a difficult time in overcome this addiction and without the full support of friends and family, it is very hard to change.

The way to stop gamble just do anything and get busy to others for you to stay away in gamble. I know its hard to giving up gamble but if you have a self controled you can do that to stop gamble.

Self control is very hard and if they can do it, they already have long ago stop going to casino. The reasons why they are addicted is because they already lose control of their urge and even become a part of their life. So they need more than just will power, they will need the help of friends and loves one. They even need to seek professional help to help them manage their feelings and thoughts better.

If you have something else to do to earn money then you better stick to it and earn more thru it than gambling. Give it up or you will lose more than what you have.
Learn a skill perhaps and find a job if you badly needed money and don't resort to gambling.

I do find it the hardest thing to try to give up and there is no cold turkey either like with the other addictions such as smoking.
You can not just expect to just quit doing it one morning when you wake up. It is just not that easy to do.

first thing that you can do is tell this to your family and tells that you really need help to quit. i think your family will help you and they will support you to quit gambling.

I am doubt this way will be successful, because if some one wanna stop play gambling it is must come from his self. And our family can not control every time. They don't know what we doing on computers and they don't know what our partner of gambling doing to us.

Giving up or trying not to play gambling is not easy because if you are get addicted on that website you can't change that or make your self busy so that you can control your self to not do gambling everyday sometimes the more we play the more the chance to get lose and we always get greed because we want our money back.

I'm not sure spending all the money would help you to quit, what if you gain money again? seriously the only person can help you to quit is you yourself or rehab.
