Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.
Totally agreed with you many people asked me same question I also said find a new addiction so that gambling one will be gone. Yeah new hobby is one of the good way but you can still stop but it can reduce your gamble activity just like me it can reduce my gambling activity instead i am daily gamble now im now once or thrice a week.. Also studying is the best if you want to learn and use in the future.. |

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good. Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble. The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me. So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.  No one is saying quitting gambling is easy but you can try at least. My suggestion is to play with the faucet money only or with some promo money they give you but never with your own money. That's for starters and then you get bored and quit it for good. ) That's not necessarily the way to do it. Playing with money that you don't deposit can entertain you for about 5 seconds, but when you need to wait for money to come in, your patience dwindles and that leads to problems in the future. Once you have money that you can deposit, you most likely will do so just to sate your cravings. Even play money doesn't help: there's nothing to be gained. Although you're addicted to the act of gambling, there still needs to be a perceivable goal to attain - and fake money won't help. |

Definitely. When I'm playing with faucet or playmoney on a site I simply do not feel the enjoyment and the adrenaline rushing through my veins. It's as simple as that. Your enjoyment comes from the ability to lose as well as gain. So yeah... Giving up gambling is very difficult because it's like a disease. But you can cure it with the right medicine, like meditation, or finding a distraction. |

actually giving up gambling is not that hard either.
of course it would be different for different people based on their personality and how strong they are.
but in general it is just a game and if you are really losing a lot of money in gambling you will have to stop at some point and if you have no money to gamble with then you will be forced to stop so it would be easy to stop with no funds at hand.

if you want to give up gambling there are a couple of good topics in this section with good suggestions to give up gambling .
but i don't see why give it all up, you can learn how to control yourself, if you can't control yourself in something this easy you can't control yourself in other stuff in your life either.

Yeah i cant give up my gambling hobby. Its not easy, But I try removing it from my self and i actually made it. I Focused in signature campaign here, And believe me or not i stopped my gambling hobby
honestly if you already addicted you can't give up easily and focusing in signature campaign is not the best way to giveup or quit in gambling.. I think psychiatrist can give and recommend if what way is the best to give up all of this thing.. they can give you a treatment to giveup in gambling addiction.. |

gamming is the best way to avoid more gambling , online game or offline , but offline game is not recommended for me . because you doesnt have friend on there. also keep your money on bank or your mother
It is not easy to give, if you are addicted to something it is hard to sop with it that is why you have to take some small steps to begin with. You cannot do it all at once. |

I 100% support your decision. Like any other type of addiction, it should be overcome. To avoid the temptation to get back to gambling, you should always be busy with something. So, yeah, you definately should get yourself a good new hobby. Some psychologists suggest to try extreme sports, for example... but this kind of activity is definitely not for everyone. Op, if you think you have problems with gambling then you might want to NOT seek any gambling related job.
I know that gamblers are usually knowledgeable and highly qualified employers in casinos but it is double edged sword.
Imagine situation where alcoholic person is working in a brewery as beer taster... it will be almost the same.
You have a point there. I would rather run a casino then play in one. I have given up gambling now. Would rather trade and things. The temptation will always be there but i must be strong enough that even if i did walk into a casino with fists full of money that i would have the self constraint to keep on walking. Eh, Ill promote casinos and stick at that. I rather work for the house ^^ |
