Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about not hapfmthe afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust ga!going casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.

That's the point, you got yourself into a problem just because you were greedy.
And why you were greedy? Because you gambled to earn money, you didn't gamble for enjoyment or for an excitement, you just saw it as a way to earn money which is the perfect way to lose money.

You can not earn anything by gambling, the best you can do is not to lose a lot.

Your loss should be a warning to stop indeed, many people had stopped because got too much losses.

A real love who can make your world better, means can distract your gamble activity, be more productive as human.
I can stop gambling, I do sometimes but it's just for sports betting and just for fun when I have money to spend. It's because I have my real love and do some productive activities + doing my hobby, it's the best thing to distract gambling activity.

don't forget there is a couple gamblers too , so it is mean nothing when you have found your real love but then you do gamble together and even build a gambler family , a lot of people doing this out there isn't it?

i do not thing that is such an easy job to quit gambling or smoking. most of the people continue smoking and gambling tell the end of their life. i personally have good experience of that, one of my friend is addicted of drinking, as drinking is illegal here and one will be put in jail if he caught red handed , he tried his best to stop drinking and most of the time succeeded but not for more that 4 to 5 weeks, and then he starts drinking again, although his doctor strongly advised him to stop drinking otherwise he will be fell seriously ill because of drinking.

Not true. Love life might change you for a while, but that doesn't mean that you have to be a different person when you are in a relationshit. If you do that, probably you are lying to your partner that you are ready to quit for her/him. Quitting and everything about your self is your problem and not your partners problem anymore. Not true. Love life might change you for a while, but that doesn't mean that you have to be a different person when you are in a relationshit. If you do that, probably you are lying to your partner that you are ready to quit for her/him. Quitting and everything about your self is your problem and not your partners problem anymore. Besides, how will you find a lovelife if you can't even quit gambling, for sure you have no time for love. 

Having a lovelife would really help you out to quit gambling specially if your love one would do help on able to do that thing but one thing is more important that you should quit gambling into yourself because even your love one couldn't able to take it away from you but only yourself. Actually having a love life change nothing in you... You don't do things for them, but you do it for your self... Honestly how can I follow your suggestion when you yourself does not really know what gambling is.  Gambling is not sickness, it is the gambling addiction.  Besides, Love ? LOL, I found lots of people with partner in life who are still in gambling.  They even have children.  I hate to say it but your idea is broken.

I also know people with loving wife and healthy kids, with good job etc. but they are still gambling addicts, so, I agree,  it's not that simple. Same here, I known a guy being loved by his family, and there is no doubt he loves his family too but he keep on gambling even if his family asked him to stop.  But the guy is easily irritated resulting to arguments.  It is not that easy, and love is not enough as what tribanogrami suggested, to stop a person from gambling.

Yes i agree, even i tried many times to explain my friend, but i tried to explain him in all possible ways that you have to save money for your children. Really he accepts what i said and cried in front of me but after some days when i come to know from other friend that he started gambling again. Really it is insane for me even though i spent whole day to explain to him but he is preferring to gamble only.
