Who has the feeling that today could be the day let it ride hits a new high? It could be. Its starting to look that way right now! i will like to see this hit an ath. i missed the last one and brought after the ath. You and I both. Luckily I was here through the ATH but I held as I will the next one. Why sell at such low prices when there are gambling games coming out that will make money. Anyone who sells now and doesn't rebuy will kick themselves.

You know I will likely do that to make sure I get some more cheap. It's just I am not the biggest of players and don't like leaving funds on the exchanges for to long. So usually I just fomo and withdraw

an inch away from 2700. new record highs I think should be expected this week. I just see it touch 2700 because I brought a few thousand. If everyone chips in we will be at 3000 and more this week you're right. I would rather it not rise yet, I'm not finished buying.

I'm switching in windows 10 now, will i have any problem with my LIR wallet?
I did the upgrade a few days ago, all works perfectly fine for me. Fingers crossed you should be okay - make sure you back up your wallet and store it on another device just to be safe!

Excuse my ignorance, I'm just wondering what LIR aims to bring to the table on top of what Satoshi Dice did.
Is the plan to build a full set of provably fair casino games around a blockchain? Why do we need a new currency? Honestly curious and interested, not trying to disparage it. I'm just not clear on what makes LIR as a cryptocurrency different and why somebody can't build a SatoshiDice clone which expands on the dice concept and adds roulette etc.

You should just use your main account why create a newbie? Not that it matters but well. I assume you read the thread before posting? So you know what the plan is Let me try an answer what makes LIR different from other crypto currency, in no particular order, LIR will have its own provably fair games, LIR will pay dividends to those that hold it, LIR will buy back from the order book creating more demand for the coin, LIR has a massive community that will help it along, (near 200 pages in a month) hundreds of members backing it. LIR is not a clone of nothing it is infact built from scratch. There is more but I think you will get the idea. Good luck to those who are attempting to create a clone of something with nothing backing it, nobody is stopping them but that is all it will be is a clone and no creativity involved so they shouldn't expect any great results (imho).

If that happens anytime in the next 3 months I'll shave my head and tattoo the lir logo to my scalp. We should all hold you to that. Please provide an address where we can come and find you with our tattooist I think you might be safe as I'd say around 10k will be a very nice price within the next 3 months when the games start rolling out.

Its very different like it was just pointed out. You should read the first post next time before asking your question because all the answer are there for you

Sorry, I'm not a new account, I've been here since March 2013.
Anyway, let me rephrase my question, since after re-reading the first page, it's still not really clear to me what the currency is. Are LIR tokens living on top of an existing smart contract platform such as Ethereum, or are you building an entirely new blockchain, and if so, why?

I ask stupid questions a lot because it's how I learn. I'm not offended if you find them stupid, so don't worry about it.
Anyway, my confusion revolves around the fact that we have a bunch of platforms already which to my limited knowledge would support a distributed and provably fair casino system. For example Ethereum can support a decentralised exchange, which suggests to me that it would also support a casino Dapp. It's not clear to me the benefit of building an entirely new blockchain instead of utilising an existing smart-contract platform. It even says in the announcement that you intend to make use of Dapps in the future.
Trying to improve my knowledge of this coin and potentially get involved as I do believe that provably fair gambling through smart contracts is evidently the future of casinos. Feel free to continue the insulting tone but I'm more interested in real answers to my dumb questions.

If this project went anywhere near ETH/ETC I would run for the hills. It suggests in the OP that it may integrate to fiat gateways using pre existing tech like Waves, creating a Dapp on Lisk sounds like an idea for the future and not set in stone. You're obviously trying to dumb yourself down and asking very easy to answer questions so the guys 'insulting tone' is what you are hoping for anyway so let it feed you.
