hi there testbug!
Im getting the following error on my worker:
[2017-01-16 ----] Stratum authentication failed [2017-01-16 ----] ...retry after 10 seconds
I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct worker login and password configured in my poolinat0r account. Is there something wrong with the pool at the moment?
same here

FYI Verium bootstrap is updated to yesterdays chain, if you need to update a long backdated node you can use File->reload blockchain and be up to date in 5 minutes.
This is very good, i am missing this feature on some other wallets Thank you for that. @testbug can you share the pool source?people can build other pools,This can make VRM more stable.

Thank you for reporting this, i have restarted the stratum, workers are reconnecting now. Sth bad happened with a block not getting entered correctly, will need some time for fixing due to my real life work. This will get fixed today.

Any reason withdrawal amount on the pool is so high?
transaction fees are high and/or have a funny way of stacking i believe. (Testbug had mentioned it b4 but i can't find it now :/ ) . its setup to save everyone money on tx fees, i remember an earlier reference saying if it was set to 10VRM the fee would be like 0.6 to w/d or something :/ so he made it higher to optimize the fees for everyone. AFAIK ;p

Yes, in the beginning i have had payouts minimum amount set to 10. The problem is, that ppl started to "bypass" the fees of the pool, meaning the pool is actually sending all the tx fees (like a normal wallet) because i am not useing the "sendmany" rpc command. So the pool actually payed way higher fees as the users. This problem seems to be almost solved and if you wish, i can lower the min. payout amount again, lowering it a bit. on 10 VRM minimum base the pool had to pay actually 0,2VRM per transaction, meaning 2% of minimum payout amount got "removed" due to the fees. On the manuall payout (there are some ppl prefering the manual payout way of life ) i have set the fees way more up, because if someone is actually withdrawing 400 or even more VRM the pool had to pay sometimes high fees and the users didn't. I hope i explained it well enough If you wish lower minimum withdraw amount please post here, if ppl are interested withdraw limits can be changed :-) As far as i know, the Verium/Vericoin inwallet swap is not completed yet, but it would be the best to ask effectstocause because i am also no verium/vericoin dev :-) VRC is pure POS (it was PoW in the beginning) and changed to pure PoS then. VRM is complete PoW.

Mr. Puparest Bentez will introduce new daily withdrawal limits. His plan is to prevent people from taking their rewards away.

Am I right to assume that I need 128Mb of ram to mine with just one thread?
"Algo: scrypt² (N of 1024² or 128MB per thread)"

Shiny butts 128 mb... I have only 64 mb RAM. Bought my computer in 1999, and have never upgraded since then. I will try to mine this one though not sure my ancient PC can handle the load.

I have found the problem and highly increased the limit. As far as i can see no ddos, but i will need some time for fixing the payouts. Stratum has been restarted and i see miners are reconnecting.
