Hi, I am from Córdoba, Argentina. I want to use bitcoin principally for private money transfers between different countries, which actually with Western Union or International Wire is very expensive. And I'm interested in the social implications of this new "currency" too  Wink

Hey, it seems like getting out of the newbie box is going to take awhile.

I'm working on some BitCoin related websites that'll launch as soon as I acquire some more coin and find an area to promote it.

Good for you.   it is really important to get them into as rapid of a circulation as possible to make this something viable.

Hi just got into bitcoin. I'm 24 and from Australia, economics + finance are my interests and that's why I'm here.

Still figuring things out. At the moment I see Bitcoins as having lots of potential and that's reflected in its appreciation against the USD and other currencies.

I still have to find a use for it myself other than a store of value. I guess as the Bitcoin economy develops there will be more uses.

Halloo, name is Earl, Earl Gray. Excited to be a part of a new and thriving community. Also, excited to explore a currency that is not connected to the federal reserve or world bank (minus the fact that we put their money in and we get coin out).

Peace.

Hey there, my name is Dave aka 2broke2smoke. Now, I am a complete Newbie when it comes to Bitcoin and I have no idea what the heck anything means yet, but that is why I am here. It is an extremely interesting concept, idea, and type of currency that I see great potential in and I hope to learn as much about it as I can.

For starters, I'm still trying to figure out what in the heck Bitcoin Mining is... but I guess reading a few articles or post on the topic would help. So far, all I have heard is the term itself, so off I go to learn. If anyone has any suggestions for newbies such as myself, I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey, I just registered. Currently fascinated by cryptocurrencies and trying to build a (very) small portfolio to play around with. As a broke college student I am sadly not able to invest much money.

Hi I'm digitalmagus. Have been reading about bitcoin for over 40 hours, but just realized I have to make 5 posts before I can actually ask questions/make posts in other forums. So enjoy this mostly pointless post #2. Tongue
