Just got into the Bitcoin world! Super excited about the possibilities of this currency! I hope to start mining soon...if I can make it profitable before ASICs come out more. Any generous member out there can shoot me my first BTC!  Smiley

Hi all!

Newbie to this community and very excited!

Just missed the big rally by a few days, but I will hopefully find good buying opportunities in the coming days and weeks.

Will do small programming tasks cheaply in exchange for BTC. Check out my thread or PM me!

Hi !
I'm very new to Bitcoin, missed the huge spike in recent days of course :p
But I'm very interested in it and in new, innovative concepts such as this one.

Hey all.

Started learning about BTC's and keep getting redirected to this site through various google searches. Figured I might as well come here and introduce myself and work on devouring all the knowledge that's been accumulated here already. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to explain this to my not so techie friends/family members; as from what I can tell that will be key in making this currency more commonplace!

Hope you're all having a great one!

Hey all,
just arrived, bought my first bitcoins not so long ago, feel pretty good about it.

Will defenately put more money into it, but will wait for calmer times, the current climb is insane.

Fairly new to bitcoin (Crypto-currencies).

Mined Bitcoin using 1 MSI 6870 over the past few months (Accumulated a little over 2 coins).
Running at about 275 Mhash/s.

Started mining Litecoin using the same card about a week ago (Accumulated a little over 40 coins).
Running at about 330 Khash/s.

I currently have 2 more 6870's coming and will soon be mining Bitcoin or Litecoin at around 825 and 990 respectively.

Hi.  I am glad to have joined the forum.  I am a sotware engineer working in the San Francisco Bay area.  I mined bitcoins for a while about a year ago and am getting back into it again.  I'm thinking of purchasing an ASIC miner but sounds like it will take months to acquire.
