I'm nathan, very interested in crypto currencies, and particularly the webization of them and bootstrapping them to existing trust networks, current favourite is ripple.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

After lurking in the forum for over a year and a half, I'm finally introducing myself to the community. My name is Tim and I've been a bitcoin user for about two years.

I mined a bit years ago, wished I'd continued if I'd known bitcoin's value would've escalated so alarmingly.
Then again, it might have melted my graphics card at the time, so...

I'm a small manufacturer in Tampa, FL, USA and my business is almost exclusively limited to the US for legal reasons.  I heard about BitCoin about 18 months ago.  I looked into it briefly and felt that it wasn't the right time to add it to my business.  I'm re-evaluating the idea, now.  Not because of the strong business case for accepting it, but because it's interesting and I'd like to support it.

I'm an ideological dreamer who believes cryptocurrncy is the future and will succeed because it MUST!  I bought into BTC at $14 and $24 plus I have some LTC.

Hi!

I checked out Bitcoin a few years ago and read the paper, but then got distracted by other things. A few months ago, I started looking at Bitcoin again, and this year I ran into some Bitcoin fans at DefCon and they convinced me to get back on the bus.

I'm a software engineer by day, and have always loved crypto. I'm really interested in what we can do to help with user adoption and accesability around Bitcoin. So, if you have an idea about something we could do to get more people using Bitcoin but need help hacking it up, feel free to message me!

Hi

Heard about Bitcoins 2 years ago, but didn't realized the potential it has until I stumbled upon them again around summer last year.
Since then, I gradually learned more about the whole system and the potential of the "Economic Majority".

After lurking the forum for a few month, I finally decided to become an active part of this community.

Looking forward to some interesting discussions Smiley

kind regards

Hey all, I've been hanging around here for a while now and spend a decent amount of time in some BTC related IRC channels (especially slush's pool) helping new miners out with basic things Smiley,
but I've only just now registered on the forums.

I'm a C# Developer that loves making random things so ever since I started mining I've been trying to come up with a way to create something new that has to do with BTC so I came up with a website that compares different exchange markets and the price BTC goes for on there and I'd really appreciate to have some feedback on it
http://www.skami.net/

Other than that I've ordered a Single from BTL and hope they start shipping soon (kinda doubt it Sad)
