Hi,  L.A.Marcellus here.
I'm looking to start accepting bitcoins at my brick and mortar shop.

BTC appeals to my libertarian side. The articles here piqued my interest initially. http://evoorhees.blogspot.com/?m=1

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

I'm jorick, in it for the long haul... though i'm still waiting for mtgox verification.

I'm planning on creating a bitcoin related IRC game, which I'll run on i2p or whatever... just need to find a way to protect against collusion (this will require some statistical insights which I'm brushing up on right now).

Actually I been thinking about spotlighting my sack.  Nothing like a big ass Teabag in the sky.

Since I'm sure there are no Gotham residents here, for a small fee I will take a pic of my wall showing a teabag of a flashlight

Well, I'm here mostly to get into bitcoins and do some trades.

The limit for newbies is a little tedious, but totally understandable. It's not that bad anyway. :p

Hello All! I have been lurking for right at two years this month. I finally decided to make myself more involved. I have been mining since May of 2011 and have seen many changes over the past couple of years. I look forward in continuing helping the network with my little rig, even though I am making no profit at all. I look forward to making some positive efforts within the community this year.

I am completely obsessed by this whole bit coin thing!
Me too. I'm supposed to be running a fishing company, but the last few days events with bitcoin have had me riveted to my computer. I think my circulation has stopped from sitting here so long.
I might start an exchange web site for Australians

I just started to play with bitcoin recently. I would like to learn more about its usage a protocols and especially the mining process.

I was little surprised to find that I could not reply to any of the posts or create new threads. What is the requirement to be able to post to the rest of the forum?

Thanks!
