Hello All.... I've been reading these forums for months, signed up a few weeks ago, I've been wondering why I couldn't post It's understood, I know how quickly forums can get out of control. I'm just trying to keep up with the latest headlines, and community sentiment. I want to make the best financial decisions that I can. Currently: I run a web-hosting business that accepts BTC. I'm see slow steady growth in terms of customer's paying it bitcoin. I also run an etsy.com store, and accept BTC.

Hello Esteemed Community.
I'm new here. Poli-sci student originally rolled into Bitcoin out of principle and appeal for the philosophy. Applaud the evidence-based findings that are being posted here, it seems as if the general bitcoin community consists of very intelligent individuals capable of making very real and very necessary changes to the world wide economic system and its dogmatic and top-down, hierarchical approach. I hope to play a vital role in spreading the bitcoin philosophy and implementing bitcoin in various parts of our globalized economy. I also try to raise awareness on this subject and hope the bitcoin success will lead to more open source concepts without a hierarchical structure.
Either going to buy about 20k of mining equipment or invest it in bitcoin, just off the bat, what would you suggest? Seems as if those ASIC rigs will take until BTC prod cap is reached before they'll be delivered, at least I haven't heard anybody about receiving one yet... any news on this? Furthermore I am very interested in meeting programmers and developers and other computer savvy people to help create an easy to access payment infrastructure for small to medium businesses in the Netherlands, money is available, motivation, PR and representation can easily be taken care off. I just need some very smart people to help me built the ideas I have.
So you think you have what it takes and you're willing to put in time and effort to make bitcoin work, and built an economy, PM me!
N. E.

Long time lurker, just signed up so I can wade into some of these threads. Didn't realise there would be a restriction for n00bs! Alas.
I won't say to much, other than I have a very modest investment in some coins, love the idea of Bitcoin and think it is a very interesting experiment that we will all learn a lot from one way or another.

Hi, now i'm not one of the 95% of the lurkers any longer.. Mined a bitcoin, then switched to LTC as there seemed to be a better ROI w/ the small system i have. Using the GUI miners currently, but will switch soon to mine multiple currencies since this seems possible with different programs.. Intrigued with the idea of these alternative ...unbacked... currencies. oh yah. donations appreciated?

Long time lurker. I used to mine BTC with my 6970 and now mine LTC with my dual 7950s. Get around 1200 kH/s with 1050 core and 1400 vram.
Not a bad way to make some cash from my gaming pc...

Hello. I've been lurking for awhile. Dinked around with some BTC mining back when it was a few bucks, and decided 'meh'. It was brought back to my attention, after, of course, GPU's stopped being easily viable for mining So, mining some LTC with a 7750 until BFL actually ships.
