hashtag here Smiley

hello hashtag.  Happy to have you on the forums.  If you're late to the party, don't use Mt Gox as an exchange.  It will fail you when you most need it to function.

You can try bitcoin-otc, or localbitcoins.com.   These two markets are what make BTC decentralized and more likely reflect the state of bitcoin at the moment.

Huh, never quite understood the point of introduction threads, but there you go:

Hello world.

Not sure which Bitcoin wallet you should use? Get Electrum!
Electrum is an open-source lightweight client: fast, user friendly, and 100% secure.
Download the source or executables for Windows/OSX/Linux/Android from, and only from, the official Electrum homepage.

Hi everyone, newb cryptocurrency enthusiast here =).

Just got CPU miner for litecoin set up on my PC , using coinotron pool for now.

Pretty new to all of this, interested in cryptocurrencies as an alternative to dollars!

My GPU is an old radeon HD 4000 series so looks like I'll be doing CPU mining until I can upgrade, thats why I went with litecoin over bitcoin.

If anyone has some spare litecoins they'd like to contribute to a newb you can send them to LbEqeMESSsCqX5buYemQXynTmWygoktppw

=)

Hello! My friends call me "The Terminator", because if anyone gets in my way they get terminated! lol

I'm here to discuss Bitcoins with my fellow technophiles. I already know the basics, and want to go a little deeper.

Hi,
I've been lurking here for some days and now I registered.
I'd like BTC especially because I can do very small transactions with reasonable fees, like donations etc…
