Hey there. I'm new to the whole bitcoin concept but from what Ive read so far it sounds pretty interesting. I'm approaching this as a hobby for now until I more fully grasp the whole tech part of it. Mining sounds interesting but complicated to the tech laymen like myself. Time to read up!

Sure, I can introduce myself. They call me Mr. Change. Well, "They" is a bit of a stretch. I call myself that. :-) I'm fascinated by the idea of bitcoins. I disparaged it a few months ago (when I should have been getting into it at $0.10/BTC! ) and am still doubtful about its odds of survival as a viable currency. At the very least, it's a step in the right direction.

Greetings friends! Call me AndyR, Andy, or Andrew if you please, and know that I am a man of purpose. Know that I come before you a man of integrity and honor. I am a man who knows that only hard work and responsibility will make a man complete. See before you not a parasite, but a man who humbly asks you judge him complete by that measure.
It is a wonder that I have not joined these discussions earlier, for I have been a miner for some time now, and believe heartily in the future of Bitcoin. It has been clear to me for many years, as I'm sure it has been to many, if not most of you, that the pernicious fiat currencies of the world are but a precarious financial skeleton, with nought but skin upon them to hide the hollows inside. They will fall soon, as they must, and I hope - believe! - that it shall be Bitcoin that brings the world back to financial right! Truly a currency of the people and by the people, and we, the people, will carry it forward through the ruin of the old government reserves with their baseless smoke and mirrors.
Come friends and let each man work for himself, and by so doing, work for the good of all. We will make the world new.

Hello everyone I've been bitcoining for a while now. I'm currently running experiments using evolutionary neural networks to attempt to examine or predict as to how the price of bitcoins might change over time - this is a pretty common technique used by big investment firms as a source of stock market information, but bitcoin is a more attractive domain since there are fewer sources of uncertainty than in the "big boy" stock market, making tweaking and fine-tuning faster. Hoping to share my results+discussion here some time soon!

Didn't realize that this was a full-on forum but I guess that's cool. Kinda sad that we have to toil in noob purgatory for who knows how long. Anyway...this is a kickass service and I can't wait to have the money to use it again. Nice to meet you all.

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm from Aus, where we seem to have a hell of a lot of trouble purchasing bit coins.
Hopefully this site can help
Cheers Morphing
