After you use the patched atikmdag.sys, do you still need to disable the Windonws signature verification? I am sure you need to use test mode (disabled windows signature verification) while you use patched driver and modded not signed bios... and I don`t see problem in using test mode in windows at all

Wow, fantastic work! So 1050 was a low as you can go on the core before it hurts performance?

195 Watt for the Total system (ca . 60-70 Watt the System) => 120 - 130 Watt for one Card.

I think that is quite reasonable for the 470 to have 28 MHz at 130W. For my R9 390, that is 27MH/s for 160W on the wall.

What have you clocked your core at? If you left it stock, you can probably underclock it quite a bit without hurting the hashrate, should maybe save you a few more watts.

Can you reveal your card manufacturer and model? Curious if memory modules are the same.

I been playing with doing some solo mining and playing with ethminer with my rx470 rig. Ethminer seems to be producing a lot lower hash rate than Claymore. Is this normal, is there a way to get more performance from ethminer with the rx470's? I am seeing 21-22mh with the Nitro 470 8gb with ethminer where I get 24+ with Claymore with stock bios and only tuned the power levels down a bit in Wattman.
So is this normal with ethminer to mine so much slower? Is this rx470 specific? Thanks.
Update: I tweaked on the global, local work, and farm rechecks and that seems to have squeezed a little more out of it, but still only at 22-23mhs per card. Still pretty low compared to Claymore, but I question if Claymore works well when working solo. The constant disconnect and reconnect for devfee I question if the network is going to trust my node and give me blocks.

did you check pool side speed or miner reported only?

When solo mining you don't really have a pool side speed. I can say however that solo mining the speed is pretty constant unlike pool mining. So you see pretty consistent hash rates. I was using claymore, but someone brought it to my attention that Claymore might affect my ability to get blocks as the miner disconnects for the devfee. However since I am connecting multiple miners through a single instance of geth I don't know for sure if this is a factor. So I started playing with ethminer to see if that might help. That is when I noticed the hash rates are low. I fired up another miner running 390's and it seems to be hashing at about the same speed at it was with Claymore. So that is what started me wondering if the slow hashing with ethminer is a 470 thing. So I have a mixture running tonight of Claymore and Eth miner forwarding the port to a single instance of geth running. Just watching and hoping to snag some blocks.
