For equihash

85 power
200 core
400 memory
70 fan

95w pull, using bminer, 315-320 h/s

1974+200 = 2174 CORE
3802+400= 4202 MEM

Is that CORE clock really ok?

Adding 200 core isn't a big problem unless your card dont like it!

Hi a few days ago I have assembled  a rig with 7 Asus 1060 Dual OC 3gb, Samsung memory.
Got lucky with the memory since I got the cards from 2 different vendors.

I am getting good results with Claymore 10.6 and Phoenix miners, with both at about 25.6 Mhs at 53/60 Celsius (room temp 24 celsius) and 653W at the wall.
Ether + Sia  24.5mhs and 145Mhs for Sia   -dcri 18

I am using MSI After Burner

Power Limits 70
Temp 75
Core Clock +107
Memory Clock 918
Fan 58%

Mother Board AsusRock h110 BTC Pro

I have to say it was a fairly easy set up to make, the cards were all immediately recognized by the system, just installed the drivers and did the tweaks on After Burner after finding them with a quick google search.
Run the miner... done!
That was it.

Compared to all the tweakings and trouble shooting I had to go through setting  up a rig with the Vegas this one was a breeze.

Cheers

Congrats on the silicon lottery results! But please remember it is barely worth dual mining at the moment because the available algos now have ASICS mining them.

I am not able to mine etherium classic anymore with my 1060 3gb. Says cannot allocate big DAG epoch. I use combination of 2x 1060 3GB and 5x 1050Ti. The error shows only for 1060 3GB anyone facing the problem. I can mine etherium though.

you can read OP yesterday have the same Problem "can't allocate big DAG epoch".1060 6 GB 7 month ago mining in etherium has 19 MH/s higher is 21 MH/s moreover now and using 1060 3GB. better jump mining zcash.

I have  on GTX 1060 3G  ETH 24.6 MH /s stable.

I read on software  ASUS OC Tweak II

GPU clock 2060 mhz  +113
GPU voltage +10
Memory Clock  9288  +1680
Power  89%

why his measurement are too different of yours?

Power Limits 70
Temp 75
Core Clock +107
Memory Clock 918
Fan 58%

65º c OPEN FRAME.  on 18ºC ( room temperature )
For summer about 25ºC room temperature what GPU temp expect?

Still running those EVGA 1060 3GB 03G-P4-6160-KR Single Fan Cards  Tongue

Even though I didn't hit the silicon lottery on all of them and most are running Hynix I am still doing quite well.

Power @ 90
Core +30
Memory + 280

Asrock H110+ Pro motherboard with 8 1060's connected is ultra stable and is still cranking out profits.

Memory clock msi afterburn show half   (9288 mhz = 4644mhz ) +1680/2 = +840 the rest is more or less the same.

I have a few of these. When the fan is set to "auto", the GPU temps will get all the way to 80-82C and the GPU fan will hover around 50.  Why don't they ramp this up to keep the temperature down more?  Not all algos cause the GPU to go this hot, but a few do.  If I set the GPU fan to 90-100%, then it will keep the GPU adequately cool.

But the fan shouldn't need to run at 90-100% 100% of the time.

It depends on your other settings, esp power and temp limit. Easiest thing to do is make a fan curve that works best for you: Afterburner settings > fan > enable user defined software automatic fan control

etc n eth have the same dag file size
Had the same issue the other day.
Need to increase your virtual memory to the proper limit. try 25000mb

My card is Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB GDDR5 with hynix memory on neosrypt. When i try to make clock overclock +200 with afterburner everythings crashed. What is the reason.

Here is my settings for my EVGA 1060 3GB hynix memory

85 Power
175 Core
400 Memory
70 Fan

for neoscrypt, using hsrminer - JustAMiner's fork

I'm getting 760 KH/s with 95W draw, 68C

I'm trying to set up the GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB GDDR5 with the hsminer neoscrypt hynix memory, but it must be a 100 percent constant power limit to take my core overclock. The xevan algorithm does not have this problem. What is the problem?

Try pulling back on your core clock till it works.

Actually ETC is a few Epoch's ahead of ETH, Currently 2.39GB Dag vs ETH 2.31
https://investoon.com/tools/dag_size

My ETC rigs hit out of memory issues the other day currently switched to ETH and estimate roughly 50 days till they hit out of memory issues.

Although they have 3GB memory some of the Video ram is used up by the OS so not all of it is available for the DAG. Pretty disappointing.

FYI I'm running windows 10 Pro, I imagine you may get a bit longer if your on a linux based OS as it could use less Video Ram.

Finally got my 1060 rig to mine ETH under windows. I was not aware that I would have to set the virtual memory of the OS that big to make it work.

Turns out I lost in the silocon lottery and ended up with 8 hynix cards, barely able to break 19-19.5 MH/s per card. Meanwhile I can do equihash at around 300 sols/s per card. I guess I'll stick to that for now. I was kind of hoping to have ETH as a fallback option in case the equihash market crashes.

Actually Im on Windows 10 also. And at the time that you posted your issues the DAG files were the same size. I did set mine to 25000 to max 30000mb and it fixed the issue as recommended by others. My system ram is 4gb and I have a 120gb ssd if that helps.

Use MPH to do equihash and convert to eth, its what i'm doing.

Hey guys, can you mine ETC on dag #178 with 3GBs? My cards can't allocate enough memory even on stock clocks with 32GB pagefile.
Someone please run -benchmark 180~200 on claymore to find the upper limit of this card.
