As Kraken isn't really friendly with my country , I decided to give Liqui.io a shoot. If I buy , could I withdraw my funds to Myetherwallet and I could spend them and send them somewhere else If I want to ?

Yeah of course, you need some ether to pay the fees (GAS) for each transaction that you will send from your ethereum address.

I heard that I should have a specific amount of ETH to be able to either receive or send (If someone could confirm this) + will I be able to receive dividends?
you should hold a specific amount of the ethereum token iconomi to be able to receive dividends.

I was speaking about ETH since you said I need some to be able to send (how much ETH is that) ?

Here more info about the (ethereum) gas: https://ethereum.gitbooks.io/frontier-guide/content/costs.html and this is a tool to calculate how much gas you should pay http://ether.fund/tool/

? as for the ICONOMI Tokens I thought everyone who holds some ICNs (no matter what amount) will be receiving dividends , since It's not the case , how much should I have ?

How much as you want, I don't think there is a minimum N of tokens to hold to be able to receive dividends.

Let fools dump your ICN against whales.

We gonna have a sweet november with icn, and december will be another sweet month to us. And 2017? Let dividends speak about 2017!

dont count on 2016 being icn year. that will b in 2017.
2016 is the year to load up on icn below ico prices. this is when you make your money. sit on it and wait it out
the biggest mistake or opportunity, depends how you look at it and if you are a holder or pump n dumper , is listing on kraken.
by listing on kraken, the majority of ico investors couldnt dump or get access to trade...go news for those that are buying below ico
kraken is no polo when it comes to user friendly

Let's sharpen that pencil....
Logic would dictate a minimum of 1 ICN to get dividends.... think about it...
"Jerk x" Splits 1 icn into 5000 ETH addresses, now Iconomi pays gas on 5000tx every week for a single icn token?
The only way to avoid that is a 1 token minimum.  Wink

I would vote it to be 10 or more if asked.

I don't really know, I didn't find (in the website) anything about the minimum N of token that you must hold but most probably you may be right.

Thinking of this made me realize another Iconomi first in the industry....
The ability to own less than a whole single share of an asset management company.
I realize it's not much or a big deal, but worth a mention.

hmm,  thinking on that a tad....
Can you imagine the number payout blocks required to handle this?
ICN wallets go 18 decimals? hehe
..doing the math on that... wow.

It already took what.... 7 blocks for 3500 accounts?
just 1 icn can be divided by 100,000,000,000,000,000
... by my calcs even allowing .1 icn would be devastating to the cost and block delivery time
allow .000000000000000001 or even .01 and the proverbial "shit will hit the fan". It would literally drain gobs of ETH every week and bog the ETH chain for days over a single decimal point.

are you nuts?  Smiley Smiley

paying dividends to 0.x ICN holder address??
I sure as fuck hope and wish to all of us Iconomi to get there, but for the next few years it will be totally useless to have such a dividends resolution.
I would say that each ICN address should hold minimum X times more ICNs than a single ICN dividend is worth.
Something like x10 perhaps. So if 1 ICN yields $1 worth of dividends, each ICN address should hold minimum $10 worth of ICNs

Makes sense?

of course. That's the idea of shares.
Dividends calculation will be made per 1 ICN, and then distributed accordingly

There's no doubt to me that some jerk will take his 1 ICN and split it into 10k accounts or even 100k accounts in a DOS attempt.
It's a matter of security and economics.
I think allowing less than a whole single ICN token to receive dividends would be both irresponsible, wasteful, and foolish.

I am sure Iconomi team have thought about that. It doesn't look like too complicated to implement some security fuse, such as minimum amount of tokens per single address

Agreed....
Iconomi team are much smarter than that.  Wink

Just get funds profit*0.2/85mi = dividend amount/icn

Now we need wait for a position, but i think all icn holders must receive dividends if dividends amount bigger than gas.

I'm a little lost...

So if Iconomi.index Profit = $100,000

Dividend amount /icn= $100,000 * 0.2/85mi = 0.00023529411 ETH / icn   ?

Please correct me if I'm mistaken...
