Understandable - had I known, I would have joined much sooner. I have not had anything to contribute until now. Someone asked about reducing the dead hashes on P2Pool - I've done it (PM me for solution) "Local dead on arrival: ~2.8% (1-6%) Expected time to share: 20.9 minutes" Another asked what the best settings are for P2Pool - using Phoenix 1.7 - after weeks of playing with different command line options I found decent solution. PM me (for now) - I will find the posts and reply (as soon as I am allowed to post) Thanks to all who got me up and running, again. I have donated to those who really helped me.

How does the 4 hours online actually work? As in 4 hours worth of posting on here?
Lurking, reading. Damn it, I've certainly read more than 4 hours here, but not as a registered user. Me too.

They should really consider changing this... it is kind of retarded. If you want a restriction, amke it just like 30 minutes, or some time. Why should we have to spam a board?

At first I didn't understand why I couldn't post some places but I fully understand now. I felt that this restriction is good in some way, I do not like you have to be online for over 4 hours since I have been tons of time online here on Bitcointalk as a guest and I know the forums and I don't think this will help against spammers and trollers.
I agree. All this makes me want to do is look for a chrome extension to auto-refresh bitcointalk every minute. In fact, I think I will go find one.

Never seen this before on any forum. I'm glad I soon registered and even found something interesting in the newbie areas, otherwise it would have been very annoying.

I understand the troll limiting. Just to be clear though, it took me a LONG time to figure out that I could only post in this forum, and that I needed to post five times. That's okay I guess, but it would have been nice to have it be clearer. Not complaining, just constructive criticism.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."
- Carroll Quigley, CFR member, mentor to Bill Clinton, from 'Tragedy And Hope'
