I had the same problem. I sent a PM to a random person because of this. It is a really good idea as we really shouldn't have to trade with trolls or get spammed with scams. I like the newbie restriction system.

No surprise here. Most messages are meaningless beyond their purpose to get around the new-user limitations. Therefore this section is utterly boring.
