trying to fight the spam and troll, you are forcing pepole to post, and their posts are made of troll & spam
if i understand the system correctly, you can be verified sooner, you just have to ask for it in the appropriate thread And who/what would that be? |

A little odd to do it this way, no? I guess it stops the bots and there's something to be said for that.

Not much. There are better ways to block bots. The Chinese/Russian spammers are a slightly bigger problem, but not big enough to warrant these stupid methods that no other web site uses and that also deflect people who have a life. |

maybe instead of the captcha, use a question, like write the word forum backforward

sensible, and the restrictions aren't that bad  if you can't wait four hours to post i don't know what's wrong with you... Really I wait 5 hours and 53 minutes and only I can reply here. Sorry Is a totally waste of time. Better is a system like sms verfication |
