I've made > 5 posts but I'm still a newbie - how can I tell how much time I've spent on the site?

Unlevereged financial instruments acting as a store of value that fluctuate 50% within 10 minutes is perfectly acceptable. I think it should be offered in IRA form to soon to be retirees.

thanks, was looking for the restrictions info! & here goes my first post!  Grin

Oh, here goes my first post...!
By the way, leaving this info here again in case someone finds it useful:

Newbie restrictions:
**************

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15958.0

Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have spent 4 hours online and have made 5 posts (new topics or replies).

If you have really good posts, you can post a request for preemptive whitelisting in the appropriate topic.

Also:
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Note that it may take up to 10 minutes for your PM or posting permissions to be granted. (The system automatically checks every 10 minutes and promotes people as appropriate.)

How does the "Total time logged in" count? I have no problem with the rules, but do not understand exactly what time is measured?

Seems like reasonable limits to keep the signal to noise ratio in check.

Thanks for running the forum.

I wish, the guest in my bar would show as much understanding as the Newbies here at the forum (me included).

I'm Jim, or Carl, or something (trust no one!).

I need BTC! I'm not going to lose them all on satoshidice this time though. I'm going to spend them wisely!
