i don't know if it was discsussed before, but what about unlinking addresses? is there any option?
If i undrstood well removing some or all BTC from the linked address will unlink it. I'm notsure. Try it to chek if it works. Removing the BTC will not unlink it. The address will still be linked but since there will be 0 BTC on it, it will not receive any Byteball. sure not, you can link 0 balance btc addresses so removing btcs shouldn't work. Hey Tony, any suggestion?

Hey Tony, any suggestion? What makes you want to unlink in the first place? If you don't want to receive bytes, moving BTC to another address is enough. If you still want to remove the link altogether, and it was created by a microtransaction, you can try to link the same BTC address to another BB address by a microtransaction, then the old link will be removed and no new link will be created.

wonderful we have an exchange with it, and flexible enough with different assets transfers. Does it work only with bytes as the basis, or any pair of the assets will work?

Hello Forgive me for my ignorance but if I compile the version from source I get the [new testnet] wallet version. How to I compile from source the wallet version to take part in the distribution for the future livenet? Both links on the page seems to lead to the same github source code?!

Yes, it is. Looks like a single chain. Looks very cool, I am surprised to see one thread only, I guess once there are more tx we should see more threads there. We definitely need scroll bar and some searches there. Very unique explorer.

Question: How to backup your wallet? Just copy the "/Local/byteball" folder?

Hello. Can I print my BiteBall address+private key on paper wallet?
How can see (find) my private key for particular BiteBall address I have generated on app?
In Global preferences>> Backup>> I found: "To restore your wallets, you will need a full backup of Byteball settings. Just the wallet seed is not enough."
Hmmm... What does it mean "full backup of Byteball settings"? How should I create "a full backup of Byteball settings" ?
Thank you!

GB still seems large to me asan exchange listed unit.
from what i know there will be 10^15 total bytes thats 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes or 1,000,000,000,000 kilobytes or 1,000,000,000 megabytes or 1,000,000 gigabytes or 1,000 terabytes or 1 petabyte
now from what the transition bot shows there is 10,000GB being allocated (0.31/btc x 31,000 btc approx)
is this round only 1% of total byteball?
i thought it was the biggest round. can tony confirm? at this rate 1GB as exchange base unit means 10,000 total coins which seems low. people are used to dealing with whole units which is why i assumed MB would be the base unit with kb and b like cents.
also with GB as base going back to bytes is 9 decimal places. bitcoin and other cryptos have adopted the 8 decimals. Tony care to weigh in as im confused?
it looks like its 1 power of 10 out on distribution page. atm seems 1% and after re-reading is round 1 to be 10%? in that case it should be 3.1GB/btc and not 0.31GB/btc
@tony just a requote as nobody answered. how many% is this round seems to be 1% by transition bot numbers

sign an address and use that as the link its easier . you could sign the old address to a bb address(different one) then if it doesnt send by xmas you're still covered
