What is the differences between a full client and light client? As I understand it, the full client will download and sync the full DAGs, and is autonomous. But what about light client? is it solely rely on a server (say at byteball.org) for balance/send/receive, or is it download also the last part of DAG, and operate from there?

Light clients download and verify a subset of the DAG that contains the transactions involving the client's addresses.

So does this mean that light client collects only those disjointed DAGs that has this wallet address transaction? The bitcoin etc light wallet I think collects last 500 blocks, and keep track of unspent coins in that wallet. Not sure if we use the similar mechanism here.

Hello, can I use blockchain.info Huh
The important thing is not to have the wallet private key?

Yes you can use blockchain.info, either by sending a small amount or by signing a message with your address(es). More info here: https://blockchain.info/wallet/wallet-faq

Yes, those disjointed transactions.
There are lots of differences with bitcoin light wallets because both database structure and consensus algorithms are different.

Damn, does that mean the cutoff time to get official BYTEBALL coins when it officially launches is over ? I was confused as you guys are/were using 2 Testnet versions and then an official Livenet launch in December, do people have to apply again for the Official Livenet Launch coins ?

Can I still make it in time or is this just testing with TESTNET BITCOINS first ?

This is just testing, the official launch isn't until Dec 25th (the day Santa killed Jesus).

You can get Byteball token [test] for free to test the Byteball wallet, the tutorial are in the first page or here; https://byteball.org/
I think you must need to learn a little of bit of english to understand some english words and also use google translate if you cannot understand the words in the first page.

will u provide a overview of registered BTC on mainnet so we can estimate sharesize
basically the question is will the BTC addresses and balances are public visible in claiming process

this is the only way they spread of coins can be judged by community as legit

if no one see anything how someone should be able to state yes the coins where spread fair

i think we are in the blockchainbusiness because trustless solutions attract us

so set this up trustless in a way anyone can verify coins where spread fair between registered btc addresses

Yes, those disjointed transactions.
There are lots of differences with bitcoin light wallets because both database structure and consensus algorithms are different.

Interesting... What if the chain reorganizes later and does the lightweight client will be re-sync'ing? Every time there is transactions with lightweight client it will need to contact a full client for verification and process of its tx?

Version 0.7.0t released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases.

It brings huge performance improvements, minor bugfixes, and new testnet with distribution proportional to TBTC balances.

Please upgrade.  Android TN wallet should update automatically.

For those who linked their Bitcoin balances, I'll run the distribution script soon, and you'll receive your share of bytes and blackbytes.

The old testnet is discontinued.
