Now it got easier to translate Byteball wallet into your language.
Join Crowdin and translate small text fragments in user friendly interface at https://crowdin.com/project/byteball (Crowdin is free for open source projects like Byteball).

Hmm, didn't knew about this. I might bump a few percents on the hungarian transation this weekend Wink

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Is it really each GB worth $337 as coinmarket says it is? I mean, if I wanted to sell it on the few exchanges that trade it atm is that the equivalent in BTC I could get? Is it right my calculation that for each 16BTC linked one GB will be rewarded?

You will also get 2 GB of Blackbytes, which have no market yet but strong upside potential too...

why to make new assets?

ICOs, shares, bonds, fiat-pegged coins, loyalty points, minutes of airtime, assets in online games, whatever you can imagine

how would they be traded ? and where?

They can be immediately traded P2P via smart contracts (same as blackbytes).
Also we have a trustless exchange already prepared https://github.com/byteball/byteball-exchange but not started yet.

reading through the whitepaper I never saw a mention of hubs and relays, maybe overseen, could you elaborate their function?

Described here https://github.com/byteball/byteballcore/blob/master/README.md

Thanks for all new translations, our localization is improving very fast!

For some languages, proofreaders were assigned (you got an email if you were assigned), proofreaders need to approve the translations.

Romanian added.

Does Hindi language available?

Hindi added.

No one forking Byteball yet? Such a great concept.  Grin

byteball will be top10 in the future for sure.

i want byteball replace that ripple shit.  Wink

It may happen only if big names will step in
Big names do not add any values but thay join only if something has value. Byteball is doing well without any big name and it doesn't need one.

big names attract the attention of everyone in our world - press, business, ordinary people and thus add value as this pushes futher the boundary of the mass coin adoption.

Why is the official short of Byteball GBYTE? Wouldn't it be better to choose a smaller unit like MBYTE, would it?
I think it would also attract more investors ( especially beginners in crypto domain ) if they do not need to buy 1 GBYTE for around $300 but 1 MBYTE for $0.30. It is a physiological thing.

Which is the best way to install the wallet on different devices - different computers and perhaps mobile, sharing the same account?

go add-wallet->multidevice-wallet
You can choose a multidevice-wallet that requires a signature from every devices if you're looking for maximum security, or a multidevice-wallet that requires only one signature from any device if you want an easy wallet for small expenses.

Thanks for the help, but I've tried to do that but the most I could achieve is to pair the devices which now allows me to chat between my laptop and my phone which I couldn't care less. My bytes still appear only on one device.
It's a real shame that in such a nice project there are no instruction on how to use the wallets. You can't even experiment too much with the wallet full of bytes, risking to lose the coins if you make mistakes. Am I the only one having this problem?

Yes, I also think MByte would be better for now.
