Hi guys, just entered xzc mining, can someone point me out some reference hash power for i7 6700 CPU (Skylake)?

Also why i cannot connect to suprnova but on pool.mn is everything ok? Is suprnova having issues with stratum?

Another question: is it normal that i see 0 Hashes on my cpu miner while mining on pool.mn but on the pool dashboard i can see 0.14 in hashing power?
When i try to solo mine i see hashes per sec on the miner window...very strange.

Hmm which error do you get ? There were some DDoSes earlier but it's all good now.

Hi you haven't made a pool yet?
Anyone can explain how to mine?

Check https://xzc.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

I downloaded and made a bat file with this command lines:

cpuminer.exe -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:5595 -u xxx -p xxx

but get 0 kh/s.

Be aware that the Lyra2 POW algorithm currently used by Zcoin (subject to change!) gives very low hashrates. Can't expect more than 20-30 hashes per sec on a Core i7. And it will continue to decrease because block height is actually used as a parameter for the algo, so the more blocks there are, the more time it takes to produce a hash.

So "0.0 kh/s" means you're probably mining just fine (with less than 100 h/s, naturally).

Devs are currently exploring alternative algorithms instead of this Lyra one which was meant to be a placeholder.

Meanwhile the coin gets nommed by botnets... Yay!

Good devs, They could've just used Lyra2v2, but they had to be different. ~_~

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Botnets? Proof or u're just an ignorant fool.

Why people always screaming botnets when they saw big hashrates in CPU coins? I don't understand. They think everyone in crypto are like them, mining from home with daddy's computer??

it's true that you can easily rent amazon ec2(or what it is i don't remember i'm not using it) and overwhelm the net with hashrate coming from a single person, which is never good

but gpu world has also his own big farm that are bad nonetheless, but still better than cpu coin

only mining, which is not everything, merchants are more important, that's why the centralization aspect of the bitcoin mining scene, count nothing, because there are merchants, here what you have?

a bunch of traders throwing money at each other, there is no real currency, besides speculation

This is typical misconception. And dont mix ur tuppenny node with loaded miner or cheepjack vpn subscription with what a median botnet is capable of doing.

Really? The first live, working, non-experimental cryptocurrency with Zerocoin transactions. Supported by Roger Ver. Currently under $1 million market cap. Yeah, way overpriced. Grin

There is absolutely nothing Trex has done that Polo hasn't done before themselves. I don't know where this image of Bittrex as a scam exchange and Polo as a white knight one came from to be honest.
