for me v7 is least stabile. up to v6 i have been mining 24/7 withotu issue [windows] but v7 crushes my windows every 18-23 hours. i think there is some CPU issues on it.

Make sure your V Memoery is +16GB I had the same issue but that fixed it. Also why not stress test your gpus with Heavy OpenCL GPU stress tester (version 0.0.9.4)  http://clgpustress.nativeboinc.org/
Hope that helps

Anybody knows what the "-benchmark" option is? I didn't find it in the options list/description.

very convenient to make your settings claymore. after activation claymore does not work, just shows you what is yours h/s.

-benchmark is described in readme file, but missed in OP. Added.

-benchmark   benchmark mode, specify "-benchmark 1" to see hashrate for your hardware.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Can someone who has a Reference R9 290 factory stock run theirs at 1100/1450 and post their Sol/s.

I am wondering if the STILT BIOS mods make any difference, I am getting 169Sol/s. With Elpida

http://images.anandtech.com/doci/7481/290Car_678x452.jpg

Running two 290's with Hynix memory at 1100/1470 +50 power +0 core voltage +0 aux.

Pool is showing a 6hr average of 380sol/s, miner shows 420. Stock bios. MSI Afterburner auto-fan configured, both in a 750D Corsair case, both running 83-85* at 70% fan.

I do not think so. Claymore was around a few hours ago and he did not announce that there will be a new version.

i'm looking to add another another card to my measly one r9 280.  is there much difference in sols between a 470 8gb & 480 8gb card?

RX470 ~160 H/s
RX480 ~175 H/s

Claymore v7, intensity setting (-i) 4

Not too much difference yet. 470 is cheaper and more efficient than 480.

Thankyou for that.  I was thinking the 470 seems to be more cost effective at the moment but wanted to double check.  I will be replacing my 280 so will a 550w PSU be enough or should I upgrade that as well?

That PSU will be enough for the 2 cards.

And you can save money on the 470 if you choose the 4GB version. Nearly 0 difference in hashrate.

RX470-4GB --> 171H/s
draw 210W from the wall.
single gpu with intel core i3.
im sure if i put 5 gpus it will reduced a bit.

470 is more efficient at this time.

I'm running 4xRX470 with a 650w psu, using 450w @ the wall

Edit : with -cclock 1100 -mclock 2000 -cvddc 875 -mvddc 900 -tt 60 , and getting 140H/s per card

I've never seen a 470 4GB that functions at higer than 1985 memory

What power draw are people seeing for 290 and 390x stock? Also. What's the viability of ETH/Zcash dual mining? Too much algo overlap or Mem usage or is it viable?

Claymore, any plans for investigating Zcash/ETH dial mining?

FOR RENT.
