This is to confirm the slight decrease in speed for the RX 480's in Claymore 9.3
The decrease is about 1%
Ceteris paribus

About miner monitor, is it possible to implement encrypted traffic between miner and monitoring software, also I think it is a good to shown the local clock and date on a web page UI.
In addition, if the utility will provide key/certificate option and the miner will check it, it may replace a missing password protection or other authentication options for monitoring/management.
And THAT is where I highly appreciate SSL/TLS.

performance of 390x=rx480. But rx480:240H/s, 390x:400H/s. why? people understand?

 Bad theory.

I have yet to see ANYTHING where the performance of the RX 480 matches the RX 390X - even ETH which is very hard on memory (and is probably the point the RX 480 comes the closest to matching the RX 390X).

ZEC has proven to be a lot less memory-hardened than it's developers appear to have intended it to be - at which point the far superior number of computer cores (abet as somewhat lower clock) of the R9 390x start pulling away from the RX 480.

Keep in mind - the RX 480 is NOT a high end of "Enthusiast" range card like the R9 390x was for IT'S generation.
It is targeted at the high end of "Mainstream" or the BOTTOM end of "Enthusiast" cards for the current generation.
We still haven't seen the high-end *OR* the bottom-end of the "still in the works" CURRENT generation of AMD cards, much less the next-generation Vega to come.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Hmm, it seems 390X can reach 400H/s though it requires some additional efforts, Polaris cards can get some speedup too.

Lovely news! Thank You!

When will be possible to have this update?

Cheers

Claymore, the miner is not working correctly with ZCL. Whenever I try to mine ZClassic, it mines for a few minutes but as soon as the DevFee round comes, it tries to connect with the dev pool but at last, the mining almost stops.

Is there any solution for this?

You did not explain what happens exactly. Does it fail to connect? Why? PM me your command line (or config.txt if you use it) and also you can send me log file.

Just wanted to confirm here that the issue has been resolved with the newer version. Smiley

Honestly im thinking we have got all what we need for rx series. Just bkz of 256 bit band. Any empruvement is only cards with 386 bit ram band.

I agree with that. The R9 390 has 512 memory bit, so it is faster.
May be. Nvidia 1070 has much less cores (1920) and Memory Bandwidth (GB / sec) 256 but fast hashed than R9 390X,R9 390 and RX480. My EVGA nVIDIA GTX 1070 hashed 430 sol/s .

For the 280X, the 9.3 is about 1% higher speed. So not much difference.
