Hey Christian.

Quick question, can I use Cudaminer on something like [Suspicious link removed]?

Do I just set it up like normal and bobs your uncle?

well your posting isn't really clear when your URL gets replaced by [Suspicious link removed].

And what on earth does the second sentence mean?  My uncle has no boobs Wink

Christian

Stupid thing.
It was a link to hashcows.

Will cudaminer work with multi-pool mining?

Yes. But if you want profit hashcows isn't the pool you want to turn to Smiley
Try clevermining, middlecoin or wafflepool. Probably in that order.

I beg to differ...According to http://poolpicker.eu/ HashCows is winning right now

Code:
Days	Middlecoin	CleverMining	WafflePool	HashCows
1 0.01187651 0.007497 0.00867769 0.0119
3 0.00896981 0.008907 0.00858611 0.01263333
7 0.00858846 0.00994586 0.00899919 0.01278571
14 0.00780487 0.01034379 0.00942926 0.01082143
21 0.00887663 0.01067286 0.00990079 0.01031429

If you look carefully at the numbers versus the curve, you'll see that it doesn't match at all.
for the 8 first days hashcows is well below 0.01btc but still it shows up with higher than that in the number (they made 3 good days at the end of the month and that's it).

Yep, the main site is averages and you can get more detail here - http://poolpicker.eu/text.php

How do you get cudaminer to utilize 100% GPU power? I have 5 x 750 ti EVGA FTW, and the power is fluctuating between 60-80%, and for one card its at 30%. I'm running Windows 8.1, 8gb ram, asrock h81 btc pro.
Config: -l T5x24 -m 1 -H 0 -i 0
Thanks!

also consider mining on coinshift.com

This multipool tries to be less damaging to the coin ecosystem by gradually shifting hashing load between coins, and by mining a couple of coins simultaneously instead of just jumping onto the currently most profitable coin.

Christian

I chnged to it , if it is that way. Thank you.

Yes, I'm seeing a steady rate between 285 - 292 Kh/s on my 660 Ti's with the occasional 296 Kh/s.
What ever changes were made in Git are good.

It's strange, for low difficulties I get that when I use -H 1 and it's fixed when I use -H 2, but when I have high difficulty it doesn't appear regardless of what I use for H.

I'm using cudaminer -a scrypt -q -H 1 -i 0 -l T12x24. Was using -H 1 with -i 1 earlier and I don't recall seeing this message then. -i 0 gives more consistent hash rates but with this message appearing about once a minute.

Hardware error, did you overclock?

No, everything's at stock settings. I did try overclocking once and it crashed when I got close to 600kH/s, hope I didn't damage anything... All hardware is brand new, only assembled this rig last week.

I have the 750ti's also and had the same problem but I am on Windows 7.

I just kept restarting the bat file and it finally went to full load, 99%. It took about 15 times of running it but it finally took. It was also my bottom, last, but card in the pci express slot.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

New to this keep getting a "stratum authentication fail" tried on 3 different pools so I am not sure what I am doing incorrect, here is one .bat example:

cudaminer.exe -r 10 -R 30 -T 30 -H 1 -i 0 -m 1 -d 0 -l L32x8 --no-autotune -o stratum+tcp://stratum-east.hashfaster.com:3333 -u fior -p x

Where is the problem? I am also using dual 9800 GTX (I will upgrade here soon just want to get the learning curb out of the way a bit more) so if you see any other issue feel free.

-u fior -p x

Should probably be:

-u fior.workername -p x

Where workername is the name of the worker you set up on the pool.

Same error.  Love this learning curve  Cool

Try -O Username.Workername:Password, also --no-autotune is obsolete

It should be -O fior.1:x
Or whatever your actual workername is at the pool you are mining at.
Then x should be your password if you set one

You don't need -r 10 -R 30 -T 30 unless you are running it in a loop

My farm with 6x750 Ti overclocked to +135/+350 so far:

Really happy. Absolutely quite, eats 550w from the wall.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

LOL Nice. I guess I should screen cap mine as well. I don't have a cool desktop background though. Just a sea of blue....

Although, do you mind sharing your individual overclock settings?

I'm doing this:

MFG   Device   GPU-Z   GPU+   MEM+
Zotac   1   1   135   125
ASUS   5   2   135   100
Zotac   0   3   100   -100
ASUS   2   4   135   50
ASUS   3   5   90   25
ASUS   4   6   135   100

BUT, I am also using custom BIOS that have the ASUS cards already at MEMCLK+200 and ZOTAC cards at MEMCLK+500. So the MEM+ numbers in the table above are additive to that. e.g. Zotac1 is actually +625.

Point in asking is that my power at the wall is ~625. I suspect I can down clock quite a bit on the GPU CLKs and probably retain within 5 kH/s or 1750 while saving some watts.

Hi, Christian

It is impossible to run cudaminer via screen:
screen ./cudaminer
[screen is terminating]

could you try running pooler's cpuminer in screen, and if it terminates too ask for an improvement in his code (pooler's cpuminer has its own thread on bitcointalk).  I can then just merge his fixes in Wink

Christian

Christian,

cpuminer versus screen is OK
cudaminer versus screen is not OK
