Do anyone know a good cudaminer config for a Gigabyte 780 Ti OC?
What do you want to mine exactly ? (configuration depends of the algo which is used)

FlappyCoin (Scrypt)
Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Do anyone know a good cudaminer config for a Gigabyte 780 Ti OC?

-i 0 -m 1 -l T15x24 for regular scrypt gets me to high 700's.

So far we have no experience with risers, and I've seen reports that nVidia cards have been crashing on risers.
No experiments. Wink  We wanted to get mining fast.

An extension to 10 GPUs is a possibility, there are currenty 2 unused PCI-x x16 slots on each mainboard.
This will require some risers.

Christian

I have some risers coming in tomorrow, I'll report back what I find out. Grin

cudaError 30 (unknown error) calling 'cudaMemcpyAsync(hash, context_hash[stream][thr_id], mem_size, cudaMemcpyDeviceToHost, context_streams[stream][thr_id])'
(D:/Christian/Documents/Visual Studio 2010/Projects/CudaMiner/sha256.cu line 446)

the "unknown error" after several minutes of successful mining might be a sign of a hardware related fault. Maybe something is unstable on the PCI express bus.

a better error recovery in CUDA would be nice to have, but it would not avoid running into these errors in the first place.

Try if the BIOS allows you to reduce PCI express bus speed (e.g. switching from PCI express 3.0 to 2.0) or to change some bus related options.

I've recently had a github support ticket open with the same error appearing with some Tesla boards. I've closed it somewhat disgruntled when the guy stated that I was about as helpful as a merry-go-round.  Well, I cannot solve your hardware ailments, guys. I might work on implementing better error recovery though.

BTW: CUDA 6.0 shows much better error messages now (not just unknown error, or unspecified launch failure). But cudaminer has to be built with the CUDA 6.0 toolkit for this to work - and there's performance related problems with this.

Christian

I think its a bad board.  IDK how it got bad but I moved it back to the "once working" rig and got the same errors.  Unfortunately I just missed the 30-day exchange window at Best Buy by 4 days so I'm in talks with NVidia now hopefully get an RMA.  I just don't know how much to tell these guys on the "how, why, where" etc.  Im surprised there isn't an "anti-mining" clause in their warranty docs.

I saw that ticket on the GitHub site.  That guy was being a D-bag!

I'm mining both yac and pts... Cheesy

Nice results, looking forward to higher clocks. Why no h81 btc pro with risers and 6 750tis?

Not surprised at all that it was crashing on a 1x non powered riser and there case for proving that the riser was not at fault was a card that worked fine that had external power, lol. Un-powered risers are supposedly only capable of 50W feed from what I understand, to be fair this is the normally accepted wattage for a motherboard to provide to a card without external power needs.

Everything I've read is a Powered Riser is needed for any Scrypt derived coin to reduce any HW errors.

Now go make it hash at 1.5x the speed Cheesy

We can invite you to Argentina, free of charge, and join our mining syndicate...get a cut out of our nvidia farms, what do you say Christian? :p mwahaha

Christ.

Go to work, and come home to see that the dev took Panda behind the courthouse and put a bullet through the back of its head, Mao-style. PANDA is at 21, and here I am, sitting on 17k of them. Guess I'll mine some doge until the next thing comes along.

Actually the network hash is still pretty high 1.8GHhash... (if wolong could dump a few more billions, that would become interesting in solo mining)  Grin

I love being able to suggest an Nvidia Card to a friend that makes him wince at the cost but let him know that he can have it pay for itself long before he will need to upgrade.

I am of course speaking of the 750's of course Smiley

PANDA is still more profitable than any other coin as someones propping it up at 0.00000020 or so.
But it does suck that it dropped so much Sad

PANDA down to 14.

Going to bed, mining doge overnight and will check PANDA tomorrow morning before heading to work, to see if it's recovered.

I was thinking that it will be possible to get larger quantities... and may-ne enough to compensate what it lost.

Got my three MSI 750ti Twin Frozr Gaming cards. Need a new case to fit the third.

Got primary card to 294kh and the secondary is running at 310kh. Cudaminer reporting a combined 603.5kh. Should hit over 900kh when I get a new case.

I still think mining scrypt is kinda lame...900kh/s at 180w is impressive but still, I'd rather mine yac, protoshares, vertcoin, or ultracoin...or microcoin instead :p

Started mining ultracoin after panda took a tumble, but low hash rates. The highest I could get was 280khash/s.

Nfactor is 10 (N=2048)
Launch config:T12x20

bat file" cudaminer.exe --algo=scrypt-jane:UTC -o stratum+tcp://ultra.minepools.us:5301 -O user:pwd"

Any clues how to get a higher rate?
