Even same cards from same manufacture might have different RAM, or different circuit/board. If you don't like this you should RMA and try to get another bulk.

Would RAM really make that much difference?  My AMD cards were a mixed bunch of Elpida and Hynix RAM, I noticed zero difference in performance...

I've isolated the card now named he thou shalt not be OC'd, I'll see if I can isolate what the issue was...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

Yeh i agree with Wolf0, unless the card isnt hitting its advertised stock clock, it should not be RMA'd especially when a high RMA amount can cause the product to have increased costs and also actually can reduce the chances of another model being made off the same chip, which in the case of the 750ti, we NEED more from them
anybody looked in simple raiser issues ?

That was going to be the first step in my diagnosis, fixed a few AMD GPU's that would get sick for no apparent reason.

I'll let you know what the issue was when I've found it, I'll diagnose on the weekend, I have a busy week ahead.

Ignition75, what were you looking for on X13 and x15? I have an increase of not less than 20% over the whole range of relevant cards - relevant being 7xxx and newer.

x11 mate, PM me if you're interested, I will pay you for your time of course.

No, if he doesn't like this, he should buy another card. You aren't promised a card that takes overclocks well, you're promised a card that functions at the clocks it is set to at the factory. Doing an RMA because your card doesn't OC as well as you want is a shitty thing to do, because you're wasting the manufacturer's time and money - which has a large effect on your fellow miners, because those of us who have cards that are actually defective in some way have to wait in line behind the fuckers trying to get lucky with the silicon lottery without "buying tickets," so to speak.

I must admit that you are right. But still a lot of OCers are still doing that. I won't overclock my cards so I don't care much about the clock. Just my suggestion.

Has anybody noticed the latest nVidia Maxwell card?  It is a single-slot entry, with 4GB VRAM, and 640 CUDA cores.  It runs at less than 75W.  Quoting from AnandTech:

"Moving on, NVIDIA’s third Quadro refresh card is the K2200. This replaces the GK107 based K2000 and marks the first Quadro product to utilize one of NVIDIA’s newest generation Maxwell GPUs, tapping NVIDIA’s GM107 GPU."

Link:  "http://www.anandtech.com/show/8374/nvidia-refreshes-quadro-lineup-launches-5-new-quadro-cards"

A miner could run most all the cards on the motherboard.  They are so skinny!  -scryptr

Not bad, but far too little power to be worth it, they would have to be priced very low

But who uses their mining gpu's all on the MB anyway? :p

so the 980 is slightly faster than a 780ti, as expected

Yes, but obviously if they overclock well we could see a huge difference, their clocks are at around 1150MHz, which may be able to bump to 1350MHz which would be amazing if it could

Price wise its going to be good i hope

and they come with 6+6(i'm right) this mean 150w-200w? maybe gpu mining could see some profit with those

Low consumption and 4 x 750Ti hash rate, if so this will be a MANDATORY upgrade! hahah  Grin

well the donation depend on profit. But looking at current GPU mining , its pretty much dead. Not sure if 900 series can change that

Hmmmmmmm... not many.  But you could have a far more neat mining rig.

A PNY Quadro K2200 goes for $459 at NewEgg.  I just wonder how it would hash.  -scryptr
