Hi,

unfortunately we had to limit the faucet for low-level users due to abuse. Someone has been spanning and orchestrating hundreds of connections just to claim satoshis and play with them, hoping to hit the withdrawal threshold.

If you are level 4 or higher, the faucet amounts are unchanged.

The other news is that I finished ETH implementation. It's working find on my own server and passes most of the tests already. Stay tuned for more news regarding ETH, I am pretty certain we'll be able to play ETH within a week.

Cheers,
Ethan
Sort of surprised people creating so many accounts just to get faucet amounts for those levels which are just like 100 satoshis, or were.
I guess this will keep them off the site and stop spamming chat waiting for rain as well.

Glad to hear you will be implementing Ethereum very soon.
Been waiting for it's introduction patiently. Smiley

If everything goes OK (and it seems so), we'll add ETH tomorrow (Tuesday).

There will also be a couple of other changes: support for Bitcoin bech32 addresses, withdrawal fees proportional to the current network rates and a few other small improvements.

If you are going to play tomorrow, just note that there will be interruptions. We are not taking YD offline, but there will be restarts and "Operation suspended" issues. The Chat will be open all the time, so you'll not be lost in the dark.

Cheers,
Ethan

BTW: I am pretty excited too :-)

Thanks for the warm words! Once ETH is done, we'll concentrate on 2 things:

1. adding in-site exchange
2. opening LTC, and later ETH investments

I this it's going to be an exciting year :-)

Hey, do you guys have any affiliate program or is the referral program:
Any YOLOdice user can join the referral program and earn coins for referring people to play the game. Here is how it works:

Each user that creates an account after following your referral link counts as your referral.
You earn 0.2% of the amount wagered by all your referrals.
The payouts are released on-demand directly to your YOLOdice account.
All supported coins are calculated separately.

what you currently offer?

Project updates (ETH and more)

1. Finally, one can play ETH on YOLOdice. I've been working on adding ETH for quite some time and I pushed the final lines of code earlier today. The bankroll will be increased soon. Right now ETH investments are private, although this will change later.

2. We now support bech32 addressed for Bitcoin withdrawals. Deposits from bech32 addresses are processed too.

3. Withdrawal fees now are more in-line with network fees. We never wanted to earn on withdrawals, so here you go. Right now BTC withdrawal fee is 0.00004800 BTC, LTC is  0.00080800 LTC. Cheapest among dice sites!

4. For ETH you can set your own gas price in Gwei

More good things are coming, stay with us!

such a very nice update to the site, been waiting for quite some time since you first announce about ETH integration, congrats. anyway, do you have any plans on adding on-site exchange for currencies you supported? will be very much convenient for players want to play ETH or LTC but don't wanna go through an exchange site

Good move YoloDice Management, it is better to add now rather than later as including the 2nd most popular cryptocurrency into your gambling site will give existing and potential members new options on betting your site. I would also recommend that if you can give a free withdrawal at least once a week it would really be great as paying for just withdrawing your winnings (or even what is left of your money) seems to be a good bonus for us players. This would be a good addition to the site.

The in-site exchange would be a very welcome addition to having the use of three different cryptocurrencies for sure.
It would save from people asking on the chat who can exchange their btc or ltc for eth for use of the the current competition going on right now.

Here are the final results of the 1 Billion Bets competition: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3070837.msg32152053#msg32152053

A big thanks to everyone who participated, and congratulations to our winners!!
Looks like only JohnLocke actually made anything from this contest rest all have losses higher than the prize they would get
But as it's gambling risk is surely involved congrats to all winners never expected the price pool to rise this high

Look again. I won more from playing than from the contest itself.

Looks like others are simply addicted i shouldn't really feel good but now and then i invest in the bankroll I'm kind of happy when these contest as most of them play without any sense and generates easy profit to us as investors

The contests don't pay investors anything. All losses that happen during the contest go back to the players.

Not really the winnings prizes are sometimes lesser than how much the user lost the prizes just reduce their loss , it is very rare for a person to win the prize and even get a profit out of it

Re-read the rules. The prize pool is greater than or equal to the amount the house wins during the week.

If some players make a net loss it is because others made a net win. The investors make nothing from the contest.

Here's how it is written on the site:

"everything that players lose goes to the prize pool"

"The guaranteed prize pool is 10 ETH. HOWEVER if site profit is larger than 10 ETH at the end of the competition, we'll update the prize pool to match that profit!"

The house also pays referral fees and rakeback on bets, so they take a loss too. Only the players profit from the contest.
