when normalizing, its all about being a ratio to each other.
with .1 being your chosen normalization for all algos:
because X15 [.1*(0.00051)] is less than quark [.1*(0.176959)]; so it will pick the algo with the higher profitability/result of function based on your normalization.... which in your example numbers as I have shown; quark has the highest sum after doing the math.
So to make the things work properly i should set something like
x11=0.0001,x13=0.1,x14=0.1,x15=0.1,quark=0.0001,qubit=0.0001due to the fact that x11, quark and qubit value are calculated in mBTC per GH, right?
Yep... simplest way to see it, but just seeing the math problems always explained it easier in the past
To use less chars, just remove a zero from the beginning of each number: x11=0.001,x13=1,x14=1.... etc. Some devices/apps don't like long passwords with a bunch of algos and parameters.
Hey quick question (they all are arent they?)
I was wondering if there was an ability on zpool to tag a miner. I currently run about 6 different rigs and would love to be able to easily distinguish between all of them looking at the zpool dashboard. If not, are there currently any plans to implement that kind of functionality?
Thanks in advance!
example pf a typical ccminer launch string:
... -u 1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP -p i7-7100-GPU,c=BTC,algoName
-p
i7-7100-GPU,c=BTC,algoName
i7-7100-GPU would be the rig name. This way, when you see the connected miners on the right pane, its password string starts with its name. Pick anything, separate it from the rest of the password with a comma as shown.
Help mining dead
You should read this thread... you literally posted on the page after what explains the problem; and there is a quote of the pool admin's response at the very top of this page.
Please guys, try and read whats recently been talked about before repeating the same things already answered.
There was a DDOS or other host/datacenter issue. Happened to everyone.
I have received only 0.00773367 XCT.
WTF?
I stopped mining before red message appeared.
sometimes the message appears after you stop mining.... such as, the pool estimated the blocks to be enough to pay before the exchange magic happened; but not after it happened for the rest of the people who got credits on the same blocks you worked on.
The dots are a TX that has not happened yet; but it about to or in progress.
Those pictured blocks were immature. until they get sold on market, then you get your final credit. It's complicated, and that's why its called an estimate. you can only count it as a real number once it hits the "Balance" portion. Anything else is a number that gets influenced by another [set of] variable(s).
You received what the pool was able to send you most likely.
