Greetings and happy new year crackfoo and others. How come I cannot use Segwit adress for payments? I am getting "recv line failed" error when I put my Segwit adress in wallet field. Thanks.
Does your address start with "3," or "bc1?" From personal experience, P2SH addresses which begin with "3" should work. I haven't tried a bech32 address which starts with "bc1" so I can't speak to that. It starts with "bc1". How is zpool "segwit ready" as per first page of this thread when it does not accept segwit address? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hey there, Im interested in pointing my L3+ on zpool because it has so much more scrypt coins to mine than MPH. I hope to not miss out on some profitable coins that are not on MPH. (Is that an right assumption?) Does anybody have a go-to setting how to do that? Its running already, but im unsure about the d=128000 setting shown on the frontpage of zpool.ca Does it do anything? Also, I would like to set the payout currency to LTC. Does it make any sense, can the pool payout in LTC? Which coin would be better to be payed out regarding the high transaction fees of Bitcoin? Can someone enlighten me with up to date info? Thanks!

* values in mBTC/MH/day, per PH for sha256 & GH for scrypt, blake, decred, x11, quark, qubit, kS for equihash Still at the site there's no notice about GH for keccak. Also there's no "blake" algo at the pool, it has "blakecoin" and "blake2s". Is blake2s per MH or GH? Does the pool have dedicated ports for nicehash and rented rigs, or it's Ok to use common ones?
Another way to determine is to go to the pool page for a specific algo, and look at the "Last 24 hours estimate" chart. Both blake2s and blakecoin are measured in mBTC/GH/day. Unfortunately it's not a 100% guarantee that the profitability switcher on the stratum side also uses GH, but it's overwhelmingly the case in my experience.

It should change the default difficulty to a level appropriate for the compute power of the L3+. Generally speaking, the pool will automatically adjust your miner's difficulty based on the rate at which it submits shares. But that can take a few minutes. So better to just set it to the recommended value from the beginning. Also, I would like to set the payout currency to LTC. Does it make any sense, can the pool payout in LTC?
Normally you can only be paid out using coins that the pool is currently mining. To my knowledge, LTC is not being mined by zpool. However, if memory serves me, earlier in this thread crackfoo stated that he was manually purchasing LTC so that he could do payouts using that coin. Presumably because it saves on fees for the pool itself. (miners don't pay fees directly; more on that below) There's no guarantee that this is still presently happening, and even if it is, there's no guarantee that it will continue happening indefinitely. So, do this at your own risk. Which coin would be better to be payed out regarding the high transaction fees of Bitcoin?
As a miner, you needn't worry about transaction fees. Fees are paid not from your balance, but using the fee taken by the pool according to the algorithm (typically 2%). Once you hit the necessary threshold, and assuming you're being paid out in a coin that the pool presently has sufficient quantity, your balance will be paid in full regardless of what the transaction fee comes to on the back end. Thanks, i got that from the website already. Why did you put "scrypt" as an argument into the password string? Thanks
It's redundant in this example, since you're not using profit switching. You can remove it from the password string in this case.

Hello everyone! Im mining at Zpool for quite a while but always wonder why sometime we get reward for mining Ninjacoins and sometimes I can see only 0 in mBTC. Can someone explain it to me? Is there any way to disable mining Ninjacoins from algo i chose? I understand that you want to protect the big secret but every time i see more Ninjacoins mining the profit drops so whats the point of it? (or maybe i didnt realise that i cannot see profit at website but still got a huuuge payout at my wallet?) To be honest i would like to know that am i mining Happy new year and best of luck in mining!

@crackfoo
Can you explain whats going on with yescrypt? So many miners have come online in the last few days that my miners are having a really hard time connecting to the pool right now. Is there anything you can do on your end to help the situation with yescrypt?
thx

With NVIDIA GTX 1070's; is X17 worth mining?
Are there particular algorithms that are better for NVIDIA cards?
Please advise?
The best algo to mine varies on a day to day (hour to hour) basis. It seems that the best way to go is to use an auto switch/profit maximising miner - I use Nemosminer and it seems to work well on zpool. First time you start it it will benchmark all the algos on your rig then work out in real time the most profitable one to mine. You may be able to tweak profitability a bit more by using the nvidia-smi utility to adjust power limit on your cards you are aiming for max hash/watt rather than max hash overall (assuming you pay something for electricity) I run 1070 cards and have found that a power limit of about 170 watts/card is best but I think it depends on the exact card you have the default is a power limit of about 200 watts/card (depending on the card bios) and after a fair bit of benchmarking I found lowering the power limit a bit got more hash/watt for a few % better overall return at the expense of a slightly smaller daily income.

Any reason Sib 24h estimated is so high? It seems like it's missing a 0 at the front, that or I'm going to be rich by tomorrow.

Yea sib 24 hr estimate seams very high.
looks like there was a spike in the profitability, perhaps a really low diff for a while... or some wacky exchange price?

I am having the same issue, I provided an XVG wallet and specified the XVG currency but in the Wallet details it is showing Unobtainium as the preferred currency and a warning. I am however showing mining efforts are working with the CPU Miner. What's your complete ccminer (or w/e) command line? What is your "-p" option currently? wallet? Thank you for the offer of help as it is truly appreciated. However it appears it was fixed on the backend. I had the currency set correctly, but I believe the system needed to just take a bit of time to provision the currency correctly.
