Does everyone mining m7m get a lambo at the end of the day tomorrow along with that 18336/mh btc payout?

Ok, thanks for that clarification.  Looks like nothing is guaranteed other than BTC.  So I guess there could be a wait to get paid in ZLC depending on how often the Equihash coin switcher moved onto that coin in order to mine it and gather a balance.

If I'm mining keccak algo for MAX coin... what's the order of operations? Pool mine's MAX, get's converted to BTC, BTC converts to MAX at exchange, MAX gets sent to wallet? Or is it simply Pool mine's MAX, MAX gets sent to miner's wallet?

I guess the question is, if I'm not mining BTC, does whatever I mine get outputted as BTC then get converted to the coin which then gets sent to our wallet? If that's the case, would it make more sense to always get payouts in BTC? If not, then disregard! Thanks again.

yes, in exchange mode, you're credited BTC value, that that value is used to calculate how much MAX that would buy, then you get paid. It's always recommended to use BTC as payout.

yes, in exchange mode, you're credited BTC value, that that value is used to calculate how much MAX that would buy, then you get paid. It's always recommended to use BTC as payout.

In exchange mode...?

Just to beat the dead horse - no matter what I choose to mine, I effectively generate BTC "credits" which are then used to exchange for the coin I would buy. So in the example of MAX coin, say I mine 200 MAX a day which calculates to ~$0.035/MAX at the moment --> $7/day. That "$7" in BTC credit is used to exchange for the 200 MAX coin minus the fee it took to process a $7 BTC credit, so I'd end up with ...say 160MAX?

But instead, if I choose BTC as payout, I would get $7/day BTC credits which won't get exchanged/deposited to my wallet until I get $36 (0.0025BTC) which reduces the effect of the fee for the transfer/exchange.

$36 = 1028 MAX - 40MAX (arbitrary fee calc) = 988 = 96% of credits.......vs the 160/200 = 80% of credits from the earlier example.

Am I thinking of this correctly?

I used to mine for the direct coins I wanted and recently switched to BTC payout.  I've noticed better payout and it allows you to play on the exchanges with the purchasing as opposed to what it appears the pool does, just dumps it at the current rate.  I've picked up a ton of Linda prior to today on the dips and made out way better than I was taking the conversion and getting paid here on my Linda wallet.  I just hope cryptopia opens LTC trading again, I'd get paid in LTC here and trade there with it.

My concern is the network fee for BTC transfers eats up quite a bit of mining proceeds.

Crack lumps the transactions together and gets a smaller fee.  The big one you'd pay would be going from your wallet to the exchange.

Hi
I just started mining to zpool and initiallly set BCH as my payout coin. But I started seeing this message:

We are short of this currency (5.69940404 BCH). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more BCH blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for BCH despite this warning.

So I switched the password to c=BTC, but 20 hours later and I'm still getting the message, even though furter down on the wallet page I can see:
DetailsExtraAlgoDiffES**Hashrate*
cgminer/4.8.0   c=BTCsha256327683.4 TH/s

Is there anything further that I'm supposed  to do to switch to BTC?
 Huh

Certainly you need to change your wallet address.  You can't interchange BCH and BTC addresses.

12.01.2018 - new roadmap and some more important updates announced by the DIME dev team
the market became crazy about DIMEcoin just now, the price doubled last two hours, very profitable to mine. The people massively buying DIME at double price,

I used three addresses. At all I started working with the -p c=BTC option
and all three addresses received BCH

This is the first time dime has ever seen any movement...

it has a MASSIVE coin supply....

It's like mining PAC for profit;  not much there at all.   fractions upon fractions of a pence...

If dime makes it to 10 sat;  then we are talking something... but it seems... not worthwhile TBH.

FYI crackfoo its on yobit's exchange; and i think a few others you use.

Actually I'm quite sure you can have the same address for BCH and BTC as long as you add the private key to the wallet. Otherwise no one would have been able to get their BCH from the initial Bitcoin Cash split ( or Airdrop or whatever it is called ).

If it is a limitation of zpool that I can not change it that would be another matter. If so I guess I will just stick with this address until a BCH payout happens and create a new address at that time.

XVG wallet update needs a wallet re-index so they're syncing now. x17 is off-line until they're synced.
