so three wave up from 400 lows, three weak waves down from 700........ the next three (third(!) wave) could take us up to 800 easily from an EW perspective. Sounds steep but it has the room to swing for sure!
......and hey, if it does well tonight it will break the almighty wedge! reason enough for 800!

this post reminds me of this:

hdbuck, EW is the study of how large forces naturally behave in a liquid market. it doesnt work on it's own, it needs fundamental drive and sentiment to be accurate, so this is not some kind of superficial witch craft. it works bloody well.

just noticed that my favorite log baseline crossed over 500.  rising almost $4/diem now.  crosses the current price on 12 Apr.  crosses ATH on 9 Jul at a rate of $8/diem.

Why say 'diem'?  Is not easier and more accessible to type day?

You know how you keep saying about your rule of thumb re. asking cabbies if they have heard of Bitcoin and they reply, no.

Try asking them in English rather Latin, maybe you'll get a different response.

For clarity, out of habit, because 'per diem' is colloquial, while 'per day' is more difficult to distinguish by ear in context from other common words in romance languages.

As long as Stamp is behind BTC-E, then you know that fiat is moving out of the market system. Fiat holders at BTC-E just get bored sometimes and give these little pushes.

Clarity?  How can using a dead language be more clear.

Colloquial?

Yeah, 'diem' is really ordinary and familiar.

By ear?   Er...we are using written/read language here...what does 'ear' have to do with anything.

What is the point in communicating, if people can't understand your message?
Other than showing off of course.

Because everyone knows that if good news will come out tomorrow people will start dumping. With bad news even more. And with no news as well.

Some of that 3K WAS the panic buying. Why do you now expect more of it? Is it supposed to go on forever? Did some news hit the wire just now?

I am expecting at least more action, not necessarily more buying.

If you use the logic that buying should result in additional buying, then you create an infinite snowball of buying that goes on forever. Obviously this is not logical.

well I think it was all panic buying..... this came after a large sell order. If the market can absorb a large sell order easy then the path of least resistance is probably up, and up it goes.

That would be a fair description of a btc bull market:  an enduring cascade of panic buys.
