Ok, I think I'm set up on Bitfinex for now. I'm levered long. Everybody buy buy buy. You can sell down to $545 and I'll take your coins, but if it crashes below $175 I'll get a margin call and I'm screwed. Gonna take a nap. Happy trading!

Really? Let's see, more or less likely to sell them if they are given 3 weeks notice to remove them from exchanges... more, or less? likely? It is a difficult one, I know.

Are you saying that it is obvious they would remove coins from the exchanges to bitcoin wallets, or obvious that they would sell every coin in their possession and remove yuan?

Is it also obvious to you how many coins are actually held by the Chinese?

I wonder whether many people, east or west, don't know about holding coins in their own wallet, therefore just leave them on the exchanges? Think someone accustomed to the stock market, but did not read up on bitcoin.

I'm catching up here. Is this what happened?
We were going up, someone spread some fake info, the sheep panic sold, info turns out to be fake, price stays down. Correct?

It's depressing. Like someone stepped in your flower bed, but the flowers don't immediately grow back up.

I keep telling myself that we just needed to see 550 or still need to see 530-540-ish again to successfully exit the triangle. To the north, of course.

Holy crap. Has anyone seen "Atlas Shrugged?" Rearden Metal = Bitcoin

Rearden refused to sell out to gov't buyout offer, subjected to media smear campaign/FUD...

Two films are on netflix. Third and last is not released yet. Then you have something called a "book", that seems to contain roughly the same information, but is fixed in space.

While gold is mentioned a few times as good money, the book doesn't go deeply into the working of the upfucking and raping of the monetary system, it describes how a society can implode. You can read it as a screenplay for what is currently happening in Venezuela.

The horde of film viewing unconscious slaves have given the film the grade: Worst film ever. This is incorrect in my opinion, it can also be enjoyed as a story about a nice, honest and powerful woman who succeeds in love and business.

On the bright side of things, there are just 2k coins left between 590 en 600. Yesterday there were 4k coins for sale at that range.

"there is no named source in today's report"
LOL, CEO's say they didn't receive any notice, but some mysterious source says they did and everybody panics. Imagine someone sends you an anonymous mail that there's an asteroid heading for your house, you read it and immediately run out screaming. WTF is wrong with people?

[...]

The USD has hit the iceberg, but like the Titanic, most are still dancing under the illusion that the ship is unsinkable.  But more and more hear the crackles and find a lifeboat.  Ironically, the more people that come on board the life boats, the bigger and more luxurious they become.

20k coins dumped on fake news before it had a chance to spread? Sounds like someone's run out of tricks.

We don't 100% know if it is fake news or not, I am on the fence and think that there's not usually smoke without fire. Obviously it could be manipulation by someone trying to make money off the price, but two rumours in one week could mean that there is some fact behind it all.

http://english.caixin.com/2014-03-27/100657518.html

  • The author also stands by his claims and says that Caixin have seen a document.

"The requirement, which Caixin saw in a document the central bank's headquarters recently sent to regional offices, says money can be taken from the accounts before the deadline, but no deposits can be made. Banks that fail to close the accounts will be punished, the PBOC said, but it did not elaborate on what those punishments would be."

  • This is further substantiated by the fact that last week PBOC dispelled the rumours

"The report by certain media that ‘PBOC has issued a document as of 3/18, requesting all bitcoin transactions be halted by 4/15′ is in error. The attitude of the PBOC towards bitcoin has been clearly stated by the [5th December] document issued by the PBOC and five other agencies.”"

however this time we haven't (to my knowledge, correct me if i am wrong) seen anything from them.

I don't know what to make of this but I know I don't want to risk cashing out to FIAT to find I sold at bottom.

On that basis I'm trading BTC/LTC... less potential gains but it keeps me in crypto and I think LTC has some ground to make up Smiley
