The world will go back to metals again as money no matter how much kicking and screaming the banks do to try and prevent it.
I hold crypto and metals. And hope many others would too. But people are just very stupid. Just tell them to buy some real gold. The question is "What do I do with it?" If five percent of the people used every month five percent of their income to gold and silver, the price would go up sure. The greater real demand would also make price manipulation much harder. People could use physical metals to pay each other directly. And avoid every tax and KYC/AML. But no, people are stupid. Start your own facebook. Make it better, shinier, with more buttons. Technically better in every way. Now see if you can get people to use it. I guess people are now slowly migrating from facebook to gab.ai. In the case of money, people are even more slow. Precious metals are something so weird money for them. They had centuries used metals, but they let TPTB to corrupt it. Now they don't even understand what metals are. Crypto is much easier to adapt. Just download the wallet. Metal is a kind of music, right? Yea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqkeuEjw7QoLike that.

In between I sold bits of coin to buy myself a nice Gallien-Kruger bass amp and a Honda generator to back up the unreliable power grid in my village in Mexico.
The GK stuff is nice, but are you hip to the Phil Jones amps Jimbo? It is counterintuitive, they are based on a 4" ported cell, you want louder/bigger, they just parallel a bunch of them up. I played with a guy a while back that had the 2x4" shoebox. I was understandably dubious, but that thing was unbelievable! Give them a look for portable, seriously.

Where are BlindMayorBitcorn and Aminorex and Jimbo at these days ??
Jimbo's in the jungle with spotty internet BMB/RW is hiding under his bed whimpering and calling for his mommie I'm in the jungle with working internet for now (touch zapote). Heading back to Toronto in a week. Hopefully I'll still be able to buy some coins at these bargain prices. Why is it that the best buying opportunities always seem to happen when I'm in the jungle? _____ I'm pretty sure I know where BMB/RWF is but I'l remain silent out of respect for his opsec.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. For the present, my GK serves me just fine for my electric basses. For my rubber string Goldtone acoustic Microbass, I use a little battery-powered Roland modeling bass amp with 4x4" speakers to add a little bottom end and make it really sound like a stand-up bull fiddle. Use it mostly in "flip-top" (Ampeg B15) mode. My GK is the 150 watt alloy model with a single 12" speaker and solid alloy chassis. I've used it in small clubs, larger 400-500 seat rooms and even outdoor open-air gigs without having to turn it up anywhere close to all the way. It has a sound and presence that absolutely rocks. Perhaps I should mention I prefer a clean undistorted sound with lots of bottom end, minimal mid-range and just enough treble for some pick snap when I use a pick. Flat wound strings of course. In fact I'll rub cigarette ashes and butter into new strings to get rid of the annoying treble. No Rotosounds for me thanks. My bass guitar heroes are Carol Kay, James Jamerson and Duck Dunn, not Jaco Pastorius or Flea.
