Until this buying volume...

Looks like this buying volume

...we're not going anywhere but sideways.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

errr...it does not always work this way, especially if we move from speculation to long term investment: see GOOGL and AAPL charts (price-blue line, volume at the bottom):

Yes, but leverage in those markets has also increased exponentially over the last decade, with CBs, investment banks and institutional investors the primary buyers (no mega sellers on the other side). Not as much with the Bitcoin market.

along with krusty, Ronald Mc?

Are you here to attempt to learning something, jonoiv?

Pro tip:  It is not too late, even for losers like ur lil selfie, so long as you attempt to learning from ur past mistakes.

Good luck.

I am sure someone, somewhere (perhaps grandma?) is praying for you, since you seem to need it.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

last two days are bit of classic old bitcoin times. the madness all over the place Cheesy

I made good, good money on Zilliqa trade, closed yesterday for almost 200%, so I'm fine wherever btc goes now.

BTC is up over 10 thousand percent since you joined this forum and you're happy with 200% on some piece of shard alt that needed a paid shilling campaign to pomp it?  You don't know good money.  Give your head a shake.

edit: Zilliqa pomp campaign

I am happy with 200% of anything every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Specially, when that 200% is in btc.

oh gawd!!!!!    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

By chance, are you taking trading tips from jonoiv?

- Black and Asian people in England are more likely to die from Covid 19.
This part is especially interesting. Do we have a list of relative deaths by race, region and so on?

White people have to get a lot of vaccines before going to africa. The life expectancy of early explorers was just one month due to all the diseases. On the other hand their darker skin means they produce less vitamin D in more northern territories. Would be interesting to compare black vs white deaths in africa to those in european countries and the states.

@JJG
I am totally gambling with my crypto investment. I’m way over invested, if it all goes to $0 I am still a partner in a business & can live comfortably on what that brings in though.

Bitcoin is my honey pot though, I could sell everything now & pull out a lot of fiat but I have bigger dreams, much bigger. It’s all worked out very well so far.

I trust in the process, end of 2021 = fireworks.

My big dream is my daughter's career. She is a tennis player. So most of my life-changing BTC money will be invested in the improvement of her tennis skills.  Grin

Not to be that guy, but you know why womens sports is not even a little bit popular right? Professional female sportsballers have the skills of teenage boys.

More importantly why isn't your dream the grandchildren your daughter will hopefully give you?

I prefer Gemini for quite a few reasons, but basically no shenanigans there and they have their shit together.

Gemini's fees are quite high. In fact, CB and Gemini have the highest fees among all major exchanges. Cool

Man, that was back in the 80ies. Now a top 100 WTA player destroys a mediocre ITF male player.

Just to distract you from the price.
Kraken has answered to the infamous Goldman Sachs conference with a well written report.

Re: @GoldmanSachs:“Implications of Current Policies for Inflation, Gold and Bitcoin"

So you have two ways to alleviate from dump-induced pain:
  • Buy the dip
  • Read interesting reports about bitcoin, and not about the price of bitcoin.
  • Actually, three: do both

Kraken is by far the best exchange we have. Lets hope it will stay for long that way. That Jesse Powell will stay healthy ( he had some health issues in past months) and not bored from crypto to retire. It would be huge loss that some bank buys Kraken and ruins it as it happened to some exchanges.

What is the ownership of Kraken?

I heard that Trace Mayer is an investor... but I don't really know much more about it.  Are you suggesting that it is mostly owned by J. Powell?  They bought other exchanges too, and they have some other activism too, such as serving as trustee in the MTGOX situation (not sure if they are still involved with that).

From time to time, Kraken has been accused of having poorly responding exchange software (maybe during high activity times), but I don't recall any accusations regarding any major or even minor security breaches.

inb4 jojo 'fuck kraken up its tentacled arse'.

Anyway that shit Jesse didn't do anything about Mt Gox when he knew it was hopeless? Shoulda warned the world? Or am I wrong?

You might have some points that Kraken has received some criticism of their MTGOX involvement in terms of the trustee covertly selling coins, but I thought that kraken's involvement in mtgox was after it had already entered into bankrupcy proceedings rather than some of the pre-crash involvement of some other folks such as roger ver and even andreas antonopolis.

So quiet here and in all my channels, I thought I better check if my internet broke, but no such luck.

Anyway I put my last few coins into BlockFi, seems such a great deal and such a safe place, nothing could possibly go wrong. /s

In fact I think it will be one of the scandals we need to keep pushing us up the bull hill in due course. When they run of with the money they promise to in their terms and conditions. But I'll be in and out before then.

What's going on with that amount?  Satoshis?  Is there supposed to be a decimal somewhere in there?

Regarding people wanting to put money with 3rd parties to get interest, I doubt that phenomena will be going away any time soon.  There are a lot of people who buy into a nonsense belief that they have to have their money working for them, as if the whole scarcity of bitcoin is not a sufficiently sound and potentially profitable investment thesis.

Likely many of us have a bit of a different definition of fuck you money, and when you grow up, you usually are not able to say fuck you to everyone and everything.  Even The Donald tries to build his whiny bully status on doing whatever the fuck he wants, but he realizes that there are consequences when he tries to do whatever he wants (even though he continues to do those kinds of things).  So people tend to fight back when someone else is trying to use their purported fuck you status to trample upon the rights and freedoms of others, which likely causes consequences no matter how lowly the fuck you-er might believe those other people to be.
