And in my opinion ChartBuddy deserves more merit. He is an honest and hard working person.
I think he might be very lonely. Sometimes I see him late at night, just posting and posting. Almost nobody ever replies. But he keeps going in the hope someone might notice him. Sadly, there are no old age homes for polar bears. Maybe Greenpeace can get on that instead of Bitcoin's energy usage. I was trying to highlight the barren-wasteland background. Not sure if anyone remembers where polar bears are supposed to live but its not supposed to be a desert dried out from man-made climate change. (although maybe someone set him lose in a foreign habitat for shits and giggles? ) But the best place for an old bear to die is in his icy habitat. At least he will die happy... 1.7 million years. Thats how long the (newest) polar ice caps have been around. Then came the Industrial Revolution. ~200 years later, here we are. The fact that there are people who still think the ancient Arctic sea ice melting at a rate of ~13% per decade is somehow a natural event is sad. Now the ice is going to melt before 2100 regardless of how hard we cut back on emissions. But whatever, fuck it. I loved Waterworld. The temperature on Antartica has gone down by 0,22 C for the last three decades, the sea is not raising more than it usually does and has been doing since measurments started, according to University of Lund, The climate of Scandinavia was about two degrees c hotter during the stone and bronze ages than it is now, there was pelicans in southern Sweden, and about one degree hotter during the viking age, we are not in "burning up" mode, we are freezing compared to the first 8000 years or so after the ice receded. And so on, reality is not playing ball I'm afraid. Edit: were pelicans? I'm always unsure about was/were. Can you show me some sources? Here's mine: https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/arctic-sea-ice/Edit: Even if the Artic temp did go down by 0.22 C° in the last three decades, the artic ice will be soon gone and nobody can deny that. We have passed the acceptable temperature a long time ago. No, I cant because I don't remember where I read it, but it was a credible source. What nobody has ever explained is how a temperature that is one to two degrees over the "baseline" is "passed the acceptable temperature" If anything we need to get two degrees warmer to get back to stone/bronze age temperatures. Im not denying that glaciers are melting, I'm saying they always have, and then come back again in cooler temperatures. and it was actually 0.22 degrees per decade for the last three decades.

I am more isolated from the floods then many people, but close enough to know I could lose out by continuing to live in Howell,NJ I see it continuing to get worse due to Norway,Denmark,Russia, Greenland,Canada all having huge upside to continued melting. Much of the USA is okay with flooding as is much of China and even Northern parts of Pakistan and India. I simply know many scumbags living in hills well above the flood numbers of say 125 feet to 165 feet are waiting for this to happen. Plenty of people are planing for this to happen sad but true.

Well, As a Bitcoiner. I would always recommend Bitcoin. But, I didn't hate ETH, to be honest. Because it was 2nd coin on the top 10 list and it has PoW at least. Now, I would recommend everyone not to trust ETH anymore. Proof of Stake made it centralized and the blockchain vulnerable. Two major Stakeholders control 47% of ETH. Meanwhile, Gas fees, Network congestion and speed remain the same. So, What was the purpose of ETH 2.0? Fuck Vitalik.

They keep saying...institutions, regulations, etc etc. The regular money is not real, but bitcoin is real. So it is understandable that people with fake money want to disparage "real money". However, the "fake money people" have power. It might take 40 years for that power to slowly seep from the "fake money" to "real money" and if it doesn't and they succeed in corrupting bitcoin, then the current fin system might not able to survive.
I am just going to 'hibernate' and wait; the trend should become visible in 10-20 years or so.

Merit abuse.I think he is abusing the merit of being a senior member. He gave him 21 merits for a simple post. WOW thread a Senior members are given merit if they post any kind of posts. I think if senior members give merit to a new member's post then he will try to post better. Well, You have been well criticized so far. You deserve it because you don't know where you are and what you are talking about. Here is some friendly advice from me. Usually, WO Members always do not see who posted it. They see what it is about. Rank doesn't matter. Look at my post count and merit count. I saw you have made 51 posts so far, and almost 98% of them are on WO. So, I guess you know where to post to get some merits, and that's your target. No one mind if you have some quality discussion. But I saw you post random tweets related to Bitcoin and add almost nothing as a comment. I guess you understood why you do not get merits. About your accusation, You already have been criticized. I would also say Oil your own machine and do not play with that you cannot control.
