I have to say I find it pretty stupid how many people behave so childish when the price pumps a bit...
lol! what do you expect? this is the "speculation" board and the "price movement" thread, if you are looking for elevated conversation you should look elsewhere. This place is also full of aspiring traders, who as we all know, are mostly kids. yea I started trading Bitcoin back in the times and had no idea what I am doing... But now that I have a good understanding of markets in general following all the "bitcoin trading experts" it's kinda strange... I switched almost completely to trading forex which feels much more fundamental. Everybody seems so much more mature compared to any place I joined for trading Bitcoin... The Whale Club teamspeak has some smart people in it but the loud "WE ARE GOING TO THE MOON, IT'S FOMO TIME, I am going to Jerk off now" guys are also there... When I first acquired bitcoins in early 2013, I tried my hand at daytrading. I did OK mainly by anticipating DDOS attacks on Gox but then again, anyone can make money during a serious bull run. I then realized that despite my successes, it was a suckers game. It was zero-sum situation where the only ones guaranteed to really make money were the exchange operators. Gambling against others with vastly more resources and experience just didn't make sense. That's why I buy the dips, accumulate coins, and wait for Bitcoin to achieve the success I truly believe it will. I'll leave casinos, daytrading, online poker, and lotteries to the gamblers.

Hi guys. Over the past week I've bought into Bitcoin for the first time, over twenty coins, when it was in the $279-$284 range. I do plan on hodling long term regardless of what the price looks like a week from now, but I still am interested in learning how to interpet the charts and stuff you fellas look at. Do you know of a good youtube that teaches this by chance? http://bitcointicker.co/#When I look at all the information on a site like this, how can I interpret the information to be either bullish or bearish for instance. Besides the obvious of the price slowly going up. I'd like to be able to understand enough to share in the excitement. Dude, you seriously bought bitcoin for the first time and your first post on this website is in this thread. Come on, seriously? Sigh...

When the fomo is the strongest you will get the money the easiest from them... I am just afraid to miss the train down...maybe gonna start slowly to build a position

298!
I'm seeing 295 on Stamp. Going to give up & go to bed now though. Until tomorrow my friends! Hopefully I wake up to 300 + . I'm not going to get my hopes up though, I bet there's a bunch of people desperate to dump us down to 280 again. It's a vicious cycle.
