hmmmmmm.......since i am afraid that bitcoinXT will be supported,''Bitcoin XT contains an unmentioned addition which periodically downloads lists of Tor IP addresses for blacklisting...... ''https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1162684.20'' .the main characteristic feature-anonymity of bitcoin will be dead....truly not all that glitters is gold! Huh Embarrassed Lips sealed Undecided

Geez, Newbie. It's a trivial matter to turn off the I.P. "blacklisting". It's just a feature for nodes that don't want to deal with slow-ass onion routing.

These objections to larger block sizes seem disingenuous. It appears to be just a miner power grab, and a wrong-headed one at that. The real way to create a market for miner fees is to expand adoption, not squeeze the current users.

Erhmmm  Roll Eyes

How's that supposed to work? How many "blockspace" do I get for 1 bitcoin?

Easy. 1/21,000,000th of the whole chain.  I answered your question, now you answer mine. If I'm not buying space on the blockchain when I'm buying bitcoin, what am I buying?

Give it a rest already. It should have been obvious that I wasn't being literal. Do you has Asperger's Syndrome?
hmmm...asperger's? i never knew you are also erudite in paediatrics. Roll Eyes

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

There's a pretty decent wall on Stamp at 2,893 BTC at $240.92.

Surely, it would be nice to see that gobbled up in one fell swoop.

Opportunity for NO slippage.

Report by MtGOX's bankruptcy trustee, 2015-09-09
[ scroll to the end of the document for the English translation ]

Quote
The status of the bankruptcy claims filed as of the end of August 2015 is as follows: Number of bankruptcy creditors: 24,704 Total amount of the bankruptcy claims filed: JPY 2,663,398,225,570 (of which the amount of the claims filed by the three largest creditors amounted to JPY 2,533,517,211,285)

That is 2.6 trillion yen. Dividing by 120 to get USD, we get about 21 billion USD, of which 20 billion USD are the top 3 claims.

It would be REALLY interesting to know who are those top 3 claimants who believe that they are entitled to receive twice the entire bitcoin market cap -- each.  If those three claims stand, they will take 95% of the spoils, and the other 24,701 claimants will divide the other 5%.

It would be fun to watch.

Unfortunately that is not decided yet:

Quote
September 9, 2015 was the date set for the investigation of claims.   However, as stated in 3. below, as I am still investigating whether or not the BTC and currencies disappeared and if they have, the background behind such disappearance, as well as the accurate balance of the account held by each user of the MtGox exchange, I have neither approved nor disapproved any of the bankruptcy claims yet. Therefore, I decided to extend the date for the investigation of the claims filed by the exchange-user creditors to the date of the next creditors’ meeting.

But at least

Quote
Robert Marie Mark Karpeles was arrested on August 1, 2015 on suspicion of unauthorized creation and use of private electromagnetic records and on August 21, 2015 on suspicion of corporate embezzlement, respectively, and is currently under detention.

If you look at finex and stamp it looks like someone wants us to stay at $240.

Until they don't.
