What if the physical universe doesn't actually exist at all? What if every single thing we think is a real thing - the screen you're reading this text on, the chair you're sitting on, the floor the chair you're occupying is resting on, the building you're in that the floor you're standing on is part of, the shoes you're wearing, your feet that are in the shoes you're wearing, your legs connected to those feet.....in fact your whole body - what if none of it is real but it's all a million ideas that exist independently of what all these things appear to be made of? As Globb0 says above, at a quantum level everything is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. So how can we be sure all these things are real? Well most will say, "Well of course they're real, I can touch them, feel them, see, them. I can bang things together and they make a sound. If it's food or drink I can taste them. Of course they're real!" but if we're using our physical senses to confirm everything we can see, hear, feel, taste and smell is real isn't there a minor governance issue in that we're using faculties that are also made of "everything is everywhere and nowhere at the same time" hence there's only a single source of confirmation therefore it's highly likely it's not accurate? Just maybe, just maybe, this is all a mockup and the great spiritual sages throughout the millenniums were trying to tell us that. Maybe what we're experiencing in this realm is but a shadow of what's actually real. Something to think about. I am convinced. I am dropping my diet.

Ok guyz!
What should be my target for the oct-jan bull run?
$1800 or $2500?
$3000+ is more realistic. A good solution to scaling will be in place, and the sky will be the limit. Just keeping it real. The current 220-300 range can't go on forever. And I don't think bitcoin will disappear any time soon. A bad solution to scaling or a can kicking measure is more likely. If we DO get a good solution, them I'm all in again, leveraged. I just don't see much movement with these core dev morons. It's more likely the consession to 2 or 4 MB blocks is just there to prevent XT or BIP101 adoption. They want as little scaling as possible. The utility of Bitcoin is directly proportional to transaction capacity. The only thing you can only buy with BTC is blockspace. a bump to a 2 MB limit likely will bring up the price very roughly 100% and 4 MB i expect will roughly cause a 4X jump in spot price.

1) I found some fiat so I bought some btc.....fingers crossed
If you want to know why the price went down a bit ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Crossing fingers obviously didn't help Buying pressure probably dropped on all exchanges when you were done. Any thoughts on the low volume of the drop? It wasn't my buying pressure I was at work (yes on a Sunday) and bought because I had some found fiat and the price went down a couple of dollars. Being the idiot I am I didn't even look at the volume. If I had I wouldn't have bought as it had been soooo low even before the minor drop. That's what 6 days and 70 hrs a week for the last couple will do to you. Yes I am at work now! BTW we are still here. Where else would we be? That reminds me, somebody said that "now" is an illusion and it made some sense. I was going to ponder that but had forgotten about it. I just bookmarked something. Thanks Fatman!!!

I hope you're making the big bucks with those kind of hours. Sorry for the late reply, but if "now" is an illusion "being late" must be as well. This is just getting better and better.

I am concerned that there is an allegation that Australian banks are deliberately choking small businesses, while setting themselves up to offer the same services, banksters! F'ing banksters...

What's new? Everyone knows that they want a (huge) slice of the pie ASAP. Economic devastation already started worldwide, China, Brazil and now France?? They must prepare the ground for the transition. I don't expect them to let small fish get their lunch. That was the right thing to do (for them...)

A wobbly Raspberry Pi? Can someone explain to me why this isn't the dead end I think it is? What is so hard to understand ? “If I could read stuff on the web for a small amount of money, and didn’t have to open myself up for repeated charging or subscriptions I didn’t want? That’s a relatively straightforward application if you have machine-to-machine payments.” oh, wait.....

Nothing significant happening then really once again. I check the price so much less frequently than I used to. I miss the good old days of 40-50 USD price swings seemingly every other day.
