I would say that this is a bad thing for Mt. Gox and a good thing for Bitcoin.  Mt. Gox is dying and everyone knows it.  Diversifying exchanges, even if it has to come through lawsuits, is what is needed for Bitcoin to succeed.

I agree, these are just Bitcoin's growing pains.

The login widget on the home page is broken. I was able to get in by going to mtgox.com/login, which uses a different form (I am in USA).

Confirmed http://mtgox.com/login works. Phew! Got to panic dump some coins in light of this coinlab news. I could kiss you! Or tip you if you put your bitcoin address in your sig.

Haha if you insist! Made an address for my sig.

If coinlab really is that great, and people need their licenses, then just open it up already. They will succeed without MtGox's customers.

It doesn't make Mt Gox right for reneging on contracts (if that is what they did), but it's not worth whining over either.

If you can't stand on your own two feet, then fuck it...

Taking it to court isn't going to help anyone one iota.

Is MtGox trolling us now, or is there really no volume?

Seems like a lot of people are still confused about how to log-in.

Calm.

Plenty of trades going through as far as I can see.

It's going down. The long, slow slide has begun.  Cry

My body is ready, Mr. Nagle.

Oh, stop it already... you are all very silly.

Alleged incompetence aside, the Gox people seem to be nice people (at least the ones i've dealt with). It doesn't make me happy at all if things are really going in this direction :/

Cheesy i don't believe it. just left forum for some hours to watch a movie...
and i come back and see 3D charts.
Shit I had that stereoscopic idea in the old wall-thread 3 weeks ago.
Quote
I just imagine that data fed into unreal or cryengine and modifying some big planes in realtime.
f**k you could even run from fps perspective along the waves shooting some bears ;-)
i have to research that idea further if it's possible, seems like a real interesting art or game concept.
for the beginning these pics would look amazing as stereoscopic versions.
like this for example, but that will just be possible if you'd change to more mixedup colours. (sterescopic need pure red and green channels)

Thanks Richy_T for such cool stuff, I have to check out your code at the weekend.
need to sleep now...but let's open a thread for that stuff...call me hooked

besides...sorry for bumping that thread with pics...back to business
