It's 9.30am here and when I woke up this morning at 6am I was a little disappointed we hadn't hit another ATH overnight.
We will never be at 32k this month at this rate.
Yeah but slow and steady wins the race, I would rather we consolidate for a little bit after each jump than get too bubbly too fast...this could be the longest bull run of all time we have a decent two year bull run so far, from October 2015 - from $250-ish. Is it really possible to get 1 or more additional years out of this particular bull run.. .Perhaps? That would be a long bull run, if it were to happen... I have my doubts... I do agree that we are not done with the current bullrun, and another 6 months is reasonable.. I cannot really see going beyond 6 months more, unless perhaps there are several significant corrections along the way without blowing off too much steam, and then perhaps we would be going to the $30k to $50k territory in the next 12 to 18 months... that would be a lot, though... so I find it to be quite the stretch and maybe less than 15% chance of such. But what do I know, except making up numbers?

Yeah but slow and steady wins the race, I would rather we consolidate for a little bit after each jump than get too bubbly too fast...this could be the longest bull run of all time Exactly. We need a slow build this time. We've got some good momentum going, but to your point, no hurry to get there. In this for the long-haul. That last run-up to $5k was irrational. This run up to 5K may also be irrational with the segwit2 fork and other FUD to be tossed soon....so I'm assuming it will get to 5k ...people will break under that pressure and sell....like the last time it was 5K and with the FUD on the forking and other spam ...we will slip back to 3.5k again and then repeat up to 5k ..hopefully as you say...more steady and sure anyway, hope I'm wrong but how I see it playing out now

Anyways, going up and down is great fun. Soon I can afford to go to an actual roller coaster ride (I've never been in a proper one).

...lol with the recent news from Russia re competing with China in Bitcon mining - coupled with the faux China ban , and taken into context with the usual bullshit the MSM spout..
This "supposed" Russia "ban"
Who could really give a flying fuck.
Not me that is for sure.
Not a single fuck given.
(Even if Putin were to come into my house and smack the hardware wallet outta my hands I would still laugh in his face)

With all due respect... I think you spelled "shit my pants" wrong With all due respect - ya obviously do not know me very well lol lol I LAUGHED at the China ""ban"" and said it was a temporary load of shyte - which I have little doubt I will be proven correct on This Russia crap is just utter lels material - seriously who cares what they do - not me. (ps Russia MAY tighten controls for retail investors - for now at least- but even if that is the case it will still make it possible for sophisticated investors to invest- I would not be surprised by a tightening - not at all.. more to the point I just do not believe that it will matter in the long run- the world will move on and Russia will likely realise that they can not stop BTC anymore than they can P2P - eitherway apart from the usual hysterical FUD storm this Russia "news" is very YAWN!)

The terrible historical similarity that I see now on the BTC market.
The current offensive has extinguished all the other fronts of the alt-coin (mass-sold other-coins to be troops to increase the BTC)
I have the impression that the "attackers" will see the "golden domes" of a new historical high, but they will not be able to touch it because "Jukov's bears" will trigger the counter-offensive.
If I was a super whale I was now triggering the explosion on another-coin (from the group of those who matter) We pump wildly and move the BTC attention.
And the BTC can be left, like the Rabaul fortress, in the crypto Pacific. At any price, aberrant price. Left out of discouraged speculators by too much price and discouraged miners from the price of ASICs.
I never thought the BTC could die just because it's too expensive. But it can.

Give me a pump like this and I am happy guy. Alts are shaking while all the fun move to bitcoin trading. We never get bored here and we love it. Can’t stop to watch the chart even though I would be supposed to do some work. Bitcoin and work really don’t get along well these days

In aprox. 7 hours Catalonia regional president Puigdemont is scheduled to speak. Nobody knows if he will do as promised and unilaterally declare independency or cowardly back-off on his word.
Let's see if it has any impact on price... or maybe we are already experiencing its influence.
What you say has no relevance or what any political shill will say. The people of Catalunya have spoken! It will take probably some time for them to crash the whole economy of Spain, or maybe less (or more.. looking at you EU ). But they will achieve, they will be unattractive for any forceful intervention. Then they will slowly adopt bitcoin or their own version of crypto money backed by other cryptos. Then they win! Spain could have played nice and said: "Sure! We give you independence but you pay us the same taxes with 1% less every year until it reaches 0% and you have your independence!" And they could have kept Catalunya a cash cow and a prosperous untouched value region for the next 20-30 years.
