A correction of nothing and we see pants being wetted again. Nice for traders but uneventful for HODLers. It will get interesting once the price doubles in 1 week. We are not there yet.

maybe 4K could hold. Maybe.

4k? That's pretty pessimistic. I think I'll give up watching the price for a while until this blows over.

This year we had at least 5 drops of 30-40-ish% from the last ATH. Now we have 12% drop and trolls are trying to steal our bitcoins by exaggerating the charts. Such small to medium drops are in fact quite healthy for the price for many reasons. On of them is that there will be less pressure on the sell books, when bitcoin starts to recover. Usually it recovers so fast that most of the shorters get rekt.  Cool Wink

With Bitcoin, anything is possible. I mean sure, I don't want to see Bitcoin's price fall any more than this, and for sure I'd like it to go to 10k and obviously, far more in the future. But we've all seen that Bitcoin is not a liquid market, a bunch of people can move prices up and down.

I made a profit of $5 shorting(I know, meager), but somebody lost those 5 bucks.

Pessimistic? We would be still definitely in a bull trend if it bottoms at 4K, and full of energy for a new pump.

This thread now looks like an echo chamber of a fanatic cult of hodlers.

Hodling is love, hodling is life.

Supply and demand is a force of nature. The supply is known, and mostly distributed by now. The demand will keep growing to a global level. There is nothing cultish about it, it is fundamental economics.

And what tells you that the demand will keep growing?

Bitcoin is too useful for moneyed people to not use. And for anyone distrustful of the state, and anyone distrustful of banks, and, and. Plenty of use cases.

I think this decline will be short-lived, and that you will rise again later. But I can clearly say that I am satisfied with the current image.

Actually nobody has lost $5. Central banks are printing hundreds of billions of fiat every month. If you buy bitcoins with those $5 you can say somebody has really lost something!

Women vote more uniformly than men, which means the moment women got the vote, women controlled politics. And women always vote for more security at the expense of freedom. Which, as every american knows, means you will get neither.

This explains why there's no women into bitcoin. Bitcoin is all freedom and very risky.

Women's nature is passive. There's no way to change it, despite what hysterical feminists want.

Bugger off, idiot.

There are plenty of LEADING women in BTC including the founder & president of the Digital Chamber of Commerce.

There are women in this thread reading you EMBARASSING YOURSELF right now.

Go crawl back into that cave & come out when you've evolved a few centuries, GEEEEEEZ.
I trade bitcoin with people in person on a very regular basis. I have yet to meet even a single woman, except for a girlfriend who tagged along.

Stereotypes are true about 80% of the time, give or take. They exist for a reason. All those "leading women" are exceptions to the general rule.

I guess you missed the memo where I listed about 100 leading women in BTC

You're an @$$hole, so females avoid you, obviously.

You are now on my ignore list, caveman.

I'm not sure what sort of women you hang around with, but I'm gay, and know several of them who have wallets. Even knew one that had a few S3's and mined back in the day.

Maybe you need to get out and meet more women ?
Quite frankly, we know nearly nothing about gays. Why do you exist? What is the evolutionary benefit? How do you interact with women compared to normal men? Little to no research is being done in this area, because it is not politically correct.

Your experience is not normal, because you are not the norm.

You shouldn't mention women to the people on this forum, it's almost as inflammatory as being complimentary about Yidisher.

Eventually, probably in several years from now, Karpeles is gonna get very rich, and we are all gonna get fuck'd and paid $480/BTC.

(MtGox is now solvent, and all excess profits will be distributed to shareholders)

edit: Peter Vessenes. who is holding up the MtGox distribution, is now working with Geoff Garziks - Metronome https://www.metronome.io

Good presentation. The whole bankruptcy procedure seems like an expensive joke. The fact that they'll be handing the excess funds to people like Karpeles and McCaleb (the guy who knowingly sold an insolvent exchange to Mark) is ridiculous.

Basically, the NYA/SegWit2x was manufactured controversy by @barrysilbert and @jgarzik so they could pump their shitcoin.
