A late and slightly hungover good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're still over $6k despite the profit-taking/correction following yesterday's ATH... currently $6075USD/$7804CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
AltCash slipped a bit as well at $451USD/$578CAD (Coinmarketcap).
It would be nice if $6k was the new bottom but I'm not counting on that quite yet. Getting over $8kCAD was fun yesterday though. It's another milestone. This time last year we were looking forward to just getting back to $1k.
What a difference a year makes. Go Bitcoin go.

ATH @ Kraken!
5311 €
Diz iz gentlemen!
False start to this rally, perhaps? 24 hours more of engine revving needed? Already broken! 5335 € now... I can't explain it, I just enjoy it... Great!!!! Wonderful!!!! But that is not the point of my question which may have been a slightly different topic regarding our seemingly pending and imminent rally, whether it is going to happen now, or take a bit longer to commence? Are we going to get to $6800 in the coming day or two or will it take us until next week before we arrive there? pfmpf, so little time, so much to do . . . C´m on bitcoin, do something Joking aside, i´m for a slow and steady rise, otherwise we´ll come into the radar of goverments, and such, to quickly. But we´ll have to step on some toes anyway, on the way.

The slower it goes up right now, the more bullish it will be later.

Exactly, even if we drop to $5k now it's still bullish as fuck because we're establishing support for extra fuel on the next rise

Today a colleague of mine came to me and asked: so what will you be doing for the upcoming November fork? I said: I will hold. He looked at me and he asked again. I replied: I will hold. He was a bit frustrated after that answer and he asked once more: come on, stop it, what does it mean to hold? I replied: Oh yeah sorry, my bad. I said: I will HOOODL. He probably tought I'm crazy and he walked away. Go BTC go!

Made a fortune on alts, lost it all shorting Bitcoin? Shorting ? Alts and Bitcoin hedge each other ( i mean, only serious alts) ! Crypto in general, has only one way to go. Guess, which one !

The guy's short got liquidated for $48M. It smells of the nouveau riche, and alts seem like the most likely source of said new wealth. I could be wrong in my assumption of course.

At the beginning of the year, i got a giant push with my alts, then went into bitcoin with half of my crypto-portfolio (it just was a bowel sensation, more than knowledge), and now i´m contemplating about "Cryonics" at Alcor (only my head, the rest of my body will be taken care of by "biohacking" anyway, and it´s just a few hundred thousand dollars, didn´t ask for how long . . .) It seems, my problems only just startet, what if nobody wants to see me in a hundred years? Guess i don´t care ! Though, proper SUVs are nice too !

Someone either has enough money not to give a shit, or is considering taking in the views from tall buildings or bridges.
A $48M margin call is just fucking brutal either way you slice it.
Suicide? Sure, $48M is a fair amount of scratch. But in the end it's only money. Hardly worth ending a life over. Or maybe you were making a commentary on someone engaging in such risky financial behavior may be an adrenaline junkie, and may be looking for the thrill of physical heights?
Tangential, but a decent piece on evil wall street: https://rantt.com/this-is-why-bankers-keep-getting-away-with-fraud-fb0a0ccbb6fb

Did I miss it? Is bitcoin a part of "crypto?" What is crypto? Not new for you, but everyone, who jumps on this thread NEW, deserves the truth served again, no? Anyway, who asked you ? Nobody asked you to watch here 24/7. Is this your thread ? Calm down, and say: I´m not bitcoinforumgod, i´m not bitcoinforumgod. Just a humble suggestion. Damn, i knew it !

I think Trezor should cap the time limit function to 24 hours, or even less, and not keep doubling the seconds or time. What if you are like the author, who legitimately owns the device? Although you should make sure to have a proper backup, not some orange paper that can be thrown away by an "evil maid". In the meantime, if the trezor was stolen by a thief, he still can't "brute force" the PIN code in any reasonable amount of time.

Made a fortune on alts, lost it all shorting Bitcoin? The person did in on Bitmex. If he had 100x leverage, he only lost USD $480K. If he did 25X leverage, he only lost 1.92 Million. Still, a lot of money. Judging from the amount of the rise yesterday, he probably had it on at least 15x leverage, which would be 3.2 million. I could be wrong though. He could have had lower leverage and has had the short open for quite sometime, and lost more money. If that were the case though, he should have cut his loses long ago.
