The bounce is going to be brutal. I can hear the confusion and the screams of lost coins.

I WANT TO SLEEP BUT THE CHARTS WON'T LET ME

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Seriously, how can we keep hitting new lows again and agai ?
What are people thinking about ? Is everybody here trying to sell now to buy back at a later dip ?

Zoom out the bitcoinity chart. Bitcoinity's 30 day chart shows bitcoin's down by -60.23%, but its six month chart shows bitcoin's up by +63.61%.

Some are. I'm sure some are shorting with margin as well. Which is basically the same concept as sell now buy later.

Huh

I do indeed work in standards as my day gig. However, ones of a very different nature. Without the standards I work on, none of this shit would even start working.

I thought you were too crypto rich to have a day job.

HOW are we bleeding this bad??

People shorting this shit to the ground at the moment, I suspect. Even though the CBOE and CME are cash settled, I'm sure some of the big shorters have figured out how to short on the Bitcoin exchanges as well. I'm sure there are more than a few individuals who have made lots of USD shorting BTC from the top. Not sure why the people going long haven't put much effort in protecting their position(That I can detect. If they did, they got owned.). Must be some really dumb money.

Maybe this is the final fail. I still think it's going to bounce first.

Ok fine. Just sold a bit now and then I'll go long with leverage once it dips more. Cool
And if it doesn't dip anymore... well that's fine for me. Win-(half)win scenario.

I'm forever optimistic when it comes to Bitcoin. Always seems to find a way to come back a tad stronger each time it hits a dip, usually caused by fud more than anything substantial.

Anyways it is interesting the big dip today with the stock market and with Bitcoin over the last couple days. I think investors in general are just stepping back and taking a breath before they come back at it.

Everything was due for a correction after such an outrageous climb. Just my thoughts Grin

This whole price discovery process reminds me of that Fight Club scene:

"I felt like destroying something beautiful."

We all know how the central banks fared at the end of that movie.

"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything."

7000! Where's our memes?

Get the 8000 memes ready. And most especially $10k.

All those late-to the-party pansy whiners who were wishing, praying for a correction to load up on, here it is. Load up!

The magical Bitcoin time machine only comes around once, twice, three times at most...
i love over 9000 meme

Some of us might start to feel this way about $9k

There is one crypto that appears to be performing absolutely IMMENSLY in this crash.

That is UNO = Unobtanium.

I just noticed it's rallied massively against Bitcoin to maintain its dollar value and then some. It also has an asset class almost to itself - extremely rare crypto, goes back 4 years, low supply. Getting one's hands on even a few coins is almost impossible.

Gonna be very successful IMO given its performance in the last few days and if it even gets onto the bottom of page 1 it's in for a 400% gain. Shameless plug, I know but true all the same Wink

Every time I sell it goes lower. Never thought I'd see the day.
