Doesn't anyone here have a life?
Not when their lambo dreams are even futher delayed With all due respect, we lost our imaginary Lambos weeks ago. But Bob's still got his new Porsche. And the old one, it sounds like. Seems like best bet is to skip the imaginary ones, and get a real one. They last longer! EXACTAmente. The best way to get rich, is to start out rich. hahahahaha

Ding ! Ding !
Two more buy orders went through while I was on the phone. I feel like I am leveling up in World of Warcraft.
I am enjoying this crash immensely. The wait at the bottom may be a bit of a pain but I am young and patient.

that is my fear....or if you go by the old bubble chart of despair....that would be the bottom...more or less..... so much for BTC being a store of value....maybe it will bounce back some..but who wants a store of value yo/yo that gives you a heart attack every 4 months Real store of value is decades away still. Anyone who bought that line is a gold plated tosspot. I love the principle and it makes sense due to BTC's qualities, but it's being constantly shat on by human nature. We haven't even mined the last block yet! That's still at least 100 years away. Maybe by that point it will become reasonably stable, or at least on a similar level with gold. So I agree, everyone who believes Bitcoin is a "store of value" is bullshitting themselves, just like the people who think we're on the verge of "changing the world". I'm not saying that there aren't revolutionary qualities about Bitcoin, but at least for now, 99% of this market is about investors trying to make easy money. It's already massively changed the world, and every one of us who's touched it, digitally speaking. Remittances from workers all over the world were expedited cheaply for many years. Women in countries where they can't have a bank account are now saving and spending and building wealth & micro-businesses. BTC has funded charities and political movements. I know lots of Bitcoiners who won't have to pay war taxes this year in USA. Come on, even Wall Street is getting involved, (damn it.) Maybe it hasn't changed the First World enough for you, but it has already changed the world in spades. Could not agree more that too much emphasis has been put on BTC as an investment tool only.

Im just buying piecemeal now. Im not even trying to guess or trade the bottom - itll bounce too fast.
Tera Bera... reverted to likely temporary incremental bullism. Go figure! Crazy times call for crazy happenings.

I am still in HODL mode. (stubborn skills that I seem have down, in spades).
Oh good, I'm glad you're still alive. Don't worry about this, it's normal silliness, remember when I was stupid enough to trade 2btc for an ounce of gold? Oi.....

I take it Peter is now referring to Bcash as the one true Bitcoin. True to form. No. You take BTC as "the one true bitcoin." As for me, I say that I don't know. Maybe BTC will remain dominant; but maybe BCH with its greater block size limit will overtake it. Or maybe a new branch will prevail. It doesn't matter to me because Bitcoin is the sum of its forks and I hold them all. Unfortunately, it appears that in all of my views of this web page, https://txhighway.com/, the one lane highway is still being used much more heavily than the 8 lane highway. It appears the BCH proponents have a long way to go to get anywhere near the adoption BTC enjoys now. This is despite the BTC mempool being at times so clogged that it is "unusable" as BCH supporters have spouted out time and time again. Or the recent narrative seems to be that BTC now has low fees because it is losing adoption. Well, that may be true, that BTC is losing adoption. However, as the web page that I have linked to demonstrates, time and time again, BCH is not gaining adoption by leaps and bounds.

Real ones need oil changes. But you know, I took my Bitcoin Porsche to work today, it was really nice on the back roads. And it makes me feel better about the whole crash thing. Course I have to replace the damn timing belt in the spring, but that's life.

The sentiment on the forum perplexes me. When its at a high everyone is super bullish and when its down 70% (where there is always a huge bounce) the forum is super bearish. I thought all the super smart bitcoin people here would be better than that.
Not everyone is talking. Not everyone is telling the truth.

You don't think we can fall to $3.5k? Not right now, but I think it could rally to 10K+ and then fall to 3.5K

You don't think we can fall to $3.5k? Not right now, but I think it could rally to 10K+ and then fall to 3.5K Or it could go straight down to $2.5k. It’s not shown much signs of bouncing since $8k and we have bad FUD on the way from equities markets in another 12 hours. Edit: or you could have gone to bed at $7300 and woken up to this.

They realize that we're probably entering a bear market that could potentially last a couple years or more and want to take a small profit or cut their losses while they can.
