Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

2nd Highest volume in terms of BTC.  There were a bunch of higher volume days if you are going in USD.

Anyone hear from Rosewood  I'm concerned the dude is passed out in a ditch somewhere, completely obliterated on scotch.

is that bad? i mean it beats being passed out naked in a bathroom in mexico (umm, or so ive heard..). even beats being passed out drunk in police lockup (that one ive verified heard of too).

friend of mine woke up one night, finding out he was in his underwear locked out of his apartment.

Force the old whales to dump it by pumping it to such a height, that they would be tempted to sell.

In this way, Wall Street would not have been dumping any time, but accumulating, first buying through the pump, second from the whales, and last from the panic sellers. Parallel to that, Ifinex would dump their btc for the tether audit as well, and WS would buy from them too. This is how they could dominate the market.

This whole SEC/CFTC crypto hearing is such bullshit. Just a circus sideshow.

Everybody thinks that the support expressed for the crypto markets in the hearing is brand new news.

But their documentation and talking points are merely shit that they already hashed out over a YEAR ago when they were planning the inception of the Bitcoin Futures markets to begin with. The SEC and CFTC are already onboard and have been for over a year now. No one needs any more convincing.

Tether seems to be stable during this bloodbath in cryptospace. Too bad I haven't invested in that. If you want stable, "store of value" coin, Tether is the answer.

Ofc its a shitshow..the only reason they are doing it today it to distract from the meltdown happening with the global markets.

1. Goto here: https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4713250/cryptocurrency

2. Move the slider to 01:20:30

Listen to what the chairman of the CFTC says about Bitcoin/blockchain tech.

Amazing !

I have no idea of the source but this is doing the rounds of social media.

Its more for optimistic amusement than something with any know basis in fact.
